Whispering Pines Campground

This is a great place to stay. Staff is very nice and accommodating. All areas are really clean.  Lake to fish or hike. Not to far from Savannah and outlet malls. Has a post office on site in the office. 



Beautiful pine trees

this campground has 21 spaces, and some will hold the large rigs.  We had a 38' 5th wheel trailer and it nicely fit in our space with room for the truck.  The owner is extremely helpful and willing to give directions to nearby locations, including the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway.  WIFI is very good in this campground and it is a very peaceful place to spend time.  You can camp along the creek and fall asleep to the running water.

Nice, peaceful and quiet campground

This is a lovely little campground with lots of shade and a gurgling creek. They have nice tent sites and all the way up to fitting our 43’ fifth wheel.  Our site backed up to the creek, which we really enjoyed. The pool was out of commission - just saying in case important to anyone else.
