We camp here (primitvely) when we want to bring our dogs. It is an RV campsite, but we camp with our tents and explore the area. It is just around the corner from lots of trails and access to Silver Lake. Not as secluded, but good enough for the family and our dogs. We go in the off season when not so many people are traveling in their RV's so it isn't as crowded.
