Hiking Sleeping Giant is really fun, and difficult in some sections. If you go off-season you will be better off, as during the peak season it is packed. The picnic area at the bottom was well maintained as were the trails. There are miles of trails and spectacular views at the top. Some are much more difficult than others, but easier trails are provided for all abilities. **After the tornado on 5/15/18 though, the picnic area has been completely devastated and will need a lot of maintenance to get it back to where it was.
