Nice 1-nighter

$15 tent camping site when visiting humboldt redwooods state park. Lots of older folks and RVs, but pretty easy going and not that sketchy.

Clean, somewhat quiet. Absolutely beautiful

We got very lucky and got the last site available for the night. We were only supposed to spend the night and continue on but we lingered for hours, not wanting to leave!

Couldn’t stay long enough

We were only there for 12 hours unfortunately. Could be the most private campground we’ve ever been too. Obviously the redwoods provided a lot of privacy but the foliage and brush was huge between each site.

Love

I stayed 1 night and then reserved 5 nights for my dads RV, tent area is a stones throw to a majestic lake that is home to a river otter, or maybe a beaver. Trail around the lake with a cute little meadow called gopher island. Hot showers, great supply in the store, almost every tent spot has a…

Homey Place

No charge for showers, decent spot for solo female travelers, super cute tree house to rent for a good price, and other cabins. Keep in mind that anytime your within 30 min of Eureka, CA there will be sketchy people acting nefarious ways. That being said, don’t make friends with the locals,…

Beautiful coastal meadow camping

We rented an RV and discovered we couldn’t fit down the narrow roads to the campsite we planned for. Praying for plan B we drove back to this RV park we saw from the road. Thankfully they had space for us. We learned about the roaming Elk herd that passed right through the camp. The camp host made…

Beautiful Beach Camping

Easy to find and easy to drive into.

It was windy when we arrived, but that died down in the early evening through the night. We were able to take several walks down to the beach with our dogs, you have to be careful near the sites because there are foxtails.

The campground became full pretty…

This place is great if you are camling gor a night weather its an RV, Tent, or Cabin. However it was a little pricy for what i got. WIFI sucks if you are more than 50 feet from the main entrance and i found human waste near my campground. This However doest surprise me as the bathrooms are far away…

Great camp ground surrounded by sequias

Camp provides showers, bathrooms, water, trash/recycling, fire rings and benches. The spots are very large. They take reservations as drive up day of (if they have space). It’s a little pricy but hey, it’s a state park.

Beautiful setting

Such a great spot to get to hikes within the redwoods but, also see the beaches. The sites are well spaced out but, you do have to pay to shower if you use the public facility. We got to see the elk in the morning and it was so cool! We stayed in the meadow and there was not trees for shade but, it…
