Great option if Yosemite’s full

Great option if your looking for full rv hookups. If you’re tent camping, this might not be the best place. Bathrooms were very unclean but the park gets the job done as a place to sleep while visiting Yosemite. No Verizon or T-Mobile coverage. Wifi available for purchase.

Close to Yosemite

Very close to park entrance. Tent sites are small and gravel. However the hosts are friendly, there are showers, clean bathrooms, good wifi, and you can use the resort pool. Great place to relax after a long day of hiking in Yosemite.

Great sites and proximity to Yosemite

We came here because it had more FCFS sites than others in the area and we weren’t able to get a reservation elsewhere. We had to take one of the double spots (of which there are too many) bc nothing else was available. The place was full the whole time we were there. All sites are beautiful. Nice…

Disappointed.

Well if you want to pay $26 for a very weedy, sun only lot, crammed amongst many RV’s with no toilet and no water, here is your place to camp. First time to Yosemite. We were very overwhelmed with all the rules, all the people, and the limited information the Rangers gave you while entering the…

Good stop over

It was a great overnight stop for us on our way to Yosemite. No AT&T cell service. Can get 1 hr of free wifi every 24hrs or pay for more wifi. The park is huge with a lot to do and different camping accommodations for all types. Easy asphalt roads throughout campground in the pines. Sites are…

Spring and fall

It’s best in the spring and fall. It’s nice and quiet and the spots are not too close to each other. Staff is nice and grounds are clean.

Very windy

I don’t know how often it happens but the night was very windy. We might have been unlucky but I saw so many trees lean the same angle, meaning the valley could be the path of wind and tend to blow strong. If you plan to camp, not RV, watch out!

Tight sites

We didn’t know that the “20 miles from Yosemite” just meant the entrance, we still had to drive about 30 miles to get into the valley. The site we pulled into was really tight with a hill and drop off on either side so our picnic table had to be in front of the airstream. You are right next to the…

Convenient, shady respite

Easy on/off from Hwy. 99. Nice management. Spaces large and lots of shade coverage. Close to hwy but far enough that road noise isn't onerous. Train passes through once at night time, bring earplugs. Clean, tidy, well kept campground.

Very nice camp host. Clean drinking water very close walking distance from any site. Water is very close so you can just walk your paddle board or kayak. Clean bathrooms! Right outside of west exist of Yosemite

Very close to the national park. Does not take reservations so you might have to get there early. The camp host was very sweet. Camp ground was $24 a night. Large sites for tents. Only thing I would complain about is it’s very close to the highway. Ask really cool watering hole about 5 mins down…

Quiet spot with great host

I stayed at Spring Cove during a trip to Yosemite. While it’s a long drive to get into the park, I found myself thankful for the quiet rest after the busy park.

The host made this campground even better. They were friendly, helpful and kept the grounds very clean and welcoming.

The lake has…
