Unlike many state campgrounds you find near the highway or railroad tracks, this one is located a nice distance from the road.  Still, it is within walking distance to a small marina and restaurant. The quaint town of Morro Bay is nearby for fine dining and shopping.  The campground offers services you typically find at state campsites. The hike and bike camping area was $5 and situated in tall trees.
