This little funky 1960’s-era resort is minutes off of interstate I-40.  It’s a perfect place to get away and relax in your very own comfortable room, or your own RV space with full hookups or you can even pitch a tent right down by the Colorado River.

Families and groups of all ages are welcome to enjoy our picnic area under shade trees, charcoal grills, a fire pit and a blanket of stars at night all year ‘round.

You can enjoy the river with fishing, boating, wave running, swimming or  just sitting out on one of our decks right over the river taking in the picturesque view of the famous Needles mountains and listening to the currents of the mighty Colorado River rush by.
We live on ‘river time’… so remember to stop, relax and put your feet in the water!

Fenders River Road Resort

This is a small campground located right next to the Colorado River. This site has a motel, RV and what looks like tent sites. Looks clean and has views of the docks right on the water

Small, but cozy and right on the Colorado River

Nice stop! Space 18 in North Shore, very enjoyable. Just come prepared there is no grocery store for 30 miles. Get gas before you get to Needles or you will pay a lot more. On the river, great beach to walk on. We avoided all the bad winter weather. Would definitely go back.

We enjoyed our stay, it was peaceful, the resort put on a fabulous Thanksgiving feast. Dogs had room to run and enjoy. Laundry facilities clean and everything worked great. The staff was wonderful , loved Tiffany!

full hookups and access to the water so you can boat in if needed and boat out. a little run down and could be updated at some spots, new paint needed, and more signage this place gets confusing to if your in the right spot.  but honestly a neat little river property for sure. lock your doors when you leave just to make sure your stuff is safe. the boat ramp is included as well. if you have a boat check water levels for when you come.

The sites are kinda tight but well worth it if you can get a river view!  Dog friendly with a nice dog beach. Staff is wonderful and accommodating. Laundry facilities are good. It’s an older park but a great stop. Stock up on your groceries before you get to Needles California as there are no grocery stores, I would also suggest getting your fuel across the river in Arizona as the fuel prices here are beyond outrageous!
