Best Dog-Friendly Camping near Grand Ronde, OR

Well we did not know that when tent camping you can only stay two weeks we were originally told we could stay as long as we wanted as long as we moved and did not stay in a spot more than 7 days. Not a bad campground just don't like the two week stay rule. Plus my cat loves it. There is a natural that can be walked, a dog park, swimming pool, also a place to throw disc golf disc's.

Stayed here for 3 months. Great safe RV park with pool, clean showers, paved sites. Dog park less than 1 mile. Awesome staff!

The park was clean and it had a nice dog park for our dog to run in. There were rabbits all over the park which was fun to watch.

The showers and laundry were clean as well. Tmobile was nonexistent in the area and Wifi from the park was abysmal. There are a lot of full time residences here but they were all very friendly.

Campground was exactly what I expected after researching on their website and looking through their reviews. Very clean! We loved the indoor swimming pool, laundry room and dog park. It felt like a country club for RV resorts. We would stay again for multiple nights if the sites were bigger. No picnic table, no room for our awning, or even room to put out camping chairs. Although the sites are small, they at least have a common grass area near the office. I believe meant for dogs. My kids like a spot to play football. Other then that we really liked it here. Perfect place though for a one night stop for a good break for the family because of the pool, but the sites are way too small.

Absolutely loved this place! I definitely suggest making a reservation our rv Neighboors let us know that they have to book a year in advance. We are traveling through Oregon just camping with two adult 2children and our dog. They were pet friendly and all of the staff were extremely nice! There are multiple spots right on the river which we were lucky enough to snag even though it was last minute.

Narrow sites. Old bathroom features. Cat poop everywhere. Even in the middle of the roads and around the fish cleaning station. Saw cats pooping under rvs.  The rabbits are long gone, replaced by loose cats. Mostly long term folks. People at end of row E argue loudly at night. No wifi code  given if you arrive after hours nor code to the bathrooms.  Nice dog yard which is the best feature.

Old little pioneer town. Has yurts and lots of hiking. Pet-friendly.

It's very nice here if your just here to handle your business or stay monthly. Under new management but great all around. Pet area and play ground and all the amenities

Small but nice, and trailer & RV friendly. Very friendly & helpful staff. Nice & clean restrooms. Fires allowed. Pets allowed at site but not on beach. Seemed a little expensive.

Fun place to visit if you live in Yamhill County (or even Salem/Keizer area). Especially when you want something close by and need to get out and explore! Pet friendly, great nature walks, and so much to see!

My absolute favorite place to camp in Oregon!!!! Always clean, quite, peaceful, and just perfect!!!! The fishing is always great and when the onshore flow comes over the trees, it's nothing short of a miracle and magic.

The sound of crashing waves on the ocean was the constant background sound for this family and pet friendly campground. Park Rangers are very friendly and helpful with any issues with your site. Our electric hookup stopped working one morning and was fixed before lunch by rangers. Campground has beach wheelchair check out available for free during your stay!!

Have been living here about a month in a travel trailer. Appreciate the amenities of small gym, hot tub, and showers. Excited for the outdoor pool to open. Staff is friendly and grounds are well maintained. There is areas for pets. We have our own wifi so can’t comment on that. Seems like a popular weekend spot for rvs and trailers.

This was our second time here, and we enjoyed the first so much we decided to spend a month over Christmas to watch storms and hopefully see the whale migration. As Seal Rocks RV Cove is right off US-101, you take the second left at the sign if you are coming from the south. Per our instruction email, we headed straight to back-in site 18 with FHUs. Since we were going to be here a month, we fiddled more than normal to position our 40’ 5th wheel into position. Otherwise, this is a fairly easy back-in. Most of the positioning was to get more center on the gravel pad because there are tall hedges on both sides. This is a nice privacy feature in most sites. The water pressure was around 60 psi, so we used a reducer. Water and electric are more centered on the site. Site 18 has a great view of Seal Rock and the ocean. Another great feature of these sites is that the utilities are on both sides for back-ins like us, and Class As and Bs can pull in forward. We needed about 15’ of sewer hose with the back-in connection. The $45 nightly rate was based on an off-season monthly rate, and we did not have to pay extra for electricity. We had one bar on Verizon, which was usable for phone calls. We got a clear shot of the NW sky for Starlink. There wouldn’t be a problem for a southern shot as well. There’s a fire pit and picnic table at the back of the site. There’s a small fenced dog park and a beach trail path that leads out of the RV park to Hwy 101 to get to the beach trail. The park WiFi was pretty good, but there were not many campers here this time of year. The park managers are friendly and accommodating, and they enforce their rules. Two in particular were dogs on six-foot leashes and no LED lights at night. We were lax with our dogs because the park was empty, but they quickly reminded us of the rule. As you are right off US-101, there is road noise, but it quiets down at night. Seal Rocks RV Cove doesn’t have a laundry, but there’s one nearby in Waldport and two in Newport. There is so much to do and see in this area. We spent a month and still didn’t get everything done we wanted to do."

Trask River Campground is 20 minutes away from Tillamook. There is not a lot of service around the area going to Tillamook so go straight to Tillamook town center and start your GPS for accurate directions (or until you get good service). You will have no service whatsoever up at the campground but that’s what camping is for, to enjoy your time outdoors! You might as well get all of your needs in town before you head up, Safeway in Tillamook has bundles of wood for $5.99, for two nights we used 4 bundles (they come with fire starter kits).

There is no showers or sinks but there is multiple “vault” toilets around the campground. For clean water there is multiple pumps around the campsite, bring your own soap.

Nice swing set and grassy areas for kids or pets to run around. If you’re lucky enough you will wake up to elk grazing in the grassy areas.

There is a main road in between the campgrounds since sites go from A-C. People fly up and down that road at 50+ MPH so watch your kids and pets.

Multiple trails and cool things to see around the campground! Enjoy!

Okay, this isn’t really camping, it’s more like parking in a parking lot so don’t have an expectation that it’s a camping atmosphere. That being said, this is a very nice place to get off I-5 and park an RV with all the amenities. You can walk to several restaurants and the outlet mall. There is a great laundry room, clean bathrooms and showers, pool, pet areas, and nicely paved, level, but crowded sites.

Pristine campground with a TON of rules. Many areas that were "No bikes, no skates, no skateboarding, no scooters, no pets." Early quiet time. No clotheslines, NO campfires (Fortunately we had a propane fire pit), no outside appliances. The RV park shared property with an over 55 community. We r/During our stay, there was a very unpleasant manure odor the whole time. The most awesome thing about this park is the path from the park to the Evergreen Aviation Museum.
