All about the Ambiance

We found this RV Park to be dreamy, the sounds of the creek were very relaxing listening from our private deck. The grounds are immaculate and lit with beautiful lights at night. The bathrooms were immaculate and the camp store and firewood delivery is very convenient. I sat in the creek in my…

Neat spot!

This is a really chill spot near Boone. We stayed in one of the tipis, and it was an awesome glamping experience

The bathrooms were clean.

Everyone staying here was really nice and chill. It feels a little hippie which is neat.

If you’re pulling a camper, the road would be a little rough, but…

Small, beautiful campgroud

Really beautiful spot. It's one small loop with around 30 sites, as well as 3 luxury yurts. Very level w/ nice gravel, fire pits & picnic tables. A nice big creek runs behind most of the campsites. There's a playground for the kids and a little fenced in dog park, too (it even has a nice dog…

Nice getaway !

My wife and I have been hunting for a new close camp ground. We may have a winner! Midway RV is very clean, quiet and friendly. The pool is fantastic and close to areas to go shopping or sightseeing.

Spacious Family Campground

Plenty of room at every site. Arrived on a Sunday for a week long stay. Mid-week has been very quiet. Plenty to do, but not a commercial campground. Bank fishing in a small pond/lake. Lake beach area is nice. Game room was fun, but we felt pricey in this area ($1 for most games). Rec room has lots…

Incredible Scenic destination!

We camped here while learning g to roast coffee and it was incredible. It was early November and the colors were incredible. I think we missed peak colors by a week or so. The next week it dumped snow. I hate we missed that!

Secluded mountain camp

The host at the campground was welcoming and informative! I sadly do not remember his name, but he made sure I had all the information about the mountain camp land & trails and was incredibly hospitable. I wish I had time to spend more than one night so I could have explored the grounds! The…

Easy access and its free

It has free tent campsites and it is right next to Linville Gorge. This allows plenty of adventurous trails ranging in difficulty. But the best view is on top of Table Rock Mountain, which I highly recommend for sunrise and sunset. However, there is no electric or bathrooms.

Quiet and Peace in Pisgah National Forest

A small campground with an updated basic playground set for the kids. Nice lawn courtyard for games. Beautiful level sites backed right up to Buck Creek where we enjoyed catching trout straight from our campsite. Located near many great hikes and river access. My Mitchell is about 60 minutes away…

Family oriented

Rose Creek is a nice quaint campground. We stayed here back in April and felt right at home. The hosts were absolutely wonderful! Plenty of space for our travel trailer and not crammed in like some others.

It was obvious that the campground is under new ownership. They are improving a lot of the…

Secluded spot with super hosts

There isn’t much to look at once you get up there, but it’s still pretty. We had a neighbor nice enough to give us his site because he was leaving early and I would have stayed another night there. It was C3 backed into the woods on level ground. It made for a cozy morning.
