We’re just a mile and a half from the beautiful spring-fed Current River and the Ozark Scenic Riverways, home to the best fly fishing, floating and family fun in the state! BRCM is 18 acres of beautiful forest teaming with wildlife, fantastic bird watching, nights filled with fireflies and stories around the fire. You can spend your days filled with the many trail systems for horses, Side by Sides and hiking, go kayaking, canoeing or floating and fishing on the current river.

We are a small family owned and operated campground with 60 campsites. We offer primitive sites, water-electric, and water-elec-sewer. we have 109 covered horse stalls and many trails to ride on our 730 acres with many more trails to ride along the Current river on National Park land. We have two sections to our campground. One for the horse enthusiasts and one for our regular campers. We have fishing, floating, horse back riding and Side by side, jeep, 4 wheeler riding all near by. We are located in the beautiful Ozarks of Missouri.

Cedar Grove Campground

Two of Americas clearest spring-fed rivers combine to create the Ozark National Scenic Riverways in the rolling, forested landscape of Akers. 

 Visitors to the campground enjoy various water activities, as well as hiking, horseback riding and wildlife viewing.

 Natural Features:

 Known for its caves, springs, sinkholes and losing streams, the Ozark National Scenic Riverways have over 300 identified caves within its boundaries. The caves range in size from a rock overhang to almost seven miles of identified passages. Eight caves, including an open sinkhole, have been designated as outstanding natural features. 

 The Ozark forest is mostly White oak and Shortleaf pine, Missouris only native pine species. Along the rivers, Sycamores, Cottonwoods, River birch and maples are common. 

 Redbud and dogwood are also abundant, putting on a spectacular show during most spring months.

 Recreation:

 The crystal-clear Current River flows past the campground, offering excellent canoeing, tubing, swimming and fishing. Over 130 miles of waterways exist within the park. Canoe and kayak rentals and outfitters can be found nearby. 

 Several miles of hiking and horseback riding trails crisscross the region, include the Alley Overlook Trail, Chubb Hollow Trail, Ozark Trail, Cave Spring Trail and Big Springs Trail.

 Facilities:

 This group campground is open year round with limited facilities in the off season.

 Scenic Round Spring Cave is nearby, with ranger-guided tours offered daily during summer months. Historic and picturesque Alley Mill and Alley Spring are nearby. The mill is open daily in the summer and ranger-offered tours are available upon request.

Flying W Store & Sampground

This recreation area is nestled in a hollow along Paddy Creek, a major tributary to the Big Piney River, 1/2 mile away. It provides a picnic area and 23 campsites. It is located adjacent to the east boundary of the Paddy Creek Wilderness and is one of the 3 trailheads for the Big Piney Trail.Paddy Creek flows year-round and is a crystal clear wading creek.

In the rolling, forested landscapes around Pulltite Campground, two of America's most beautiful spring-fed rivers combine to make up the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. As the first national park area to protect a wild river system, visitors have plenty of scenic water activities to enjoy as well as hiking, horseback riding and wildlife viewing. Recreation The Current River flows past the campground, offering excellent canoeing, tubing, swimming and fishing. Over 130 miles of waterways exist within the park. Canoe and kayak rentals and outfitters can be found nearby. The historic Pulltite Cabin is across the river from the campground. The only way to see the cabin is by boat or by wading across the river. The cabin is next to scenic Pulltite Spring, for which the campground is named. Several miles of hiking and horseback riding trails crisscross the region, include the Alley Overlook Trail, Chubb Hollow Trail, Ozark Trail, Cave Spring Trail and Big Springs Trail. Facilities This year-round campground has flush toilets and showers facilities available April 15 through October 15. Picnic tables, fire rings, and grills are provided. Roads and parking spurs are paved. Ranger-led campfire programs are offered in the campground amphitheater during summer months. Pulltite Campground

Few regions today preserve the wild and natural beauty of the Ozarks as well as Sunklands. Sunklands Conservation Area combined the former Sunklands-Burr Oak Basin Natural Area and Skunk Pond, Hartshorn, and Shannondale conservation areas with Kerr-McGee land.
Sunklands is valuable for its array of native plant and animal species. The area is the only known habitat in Missouri for monkshood, a showy purple wildflower.
Several upland ponds or sinkholes contain water and form a marshy area. The wetlands are rare and important homes to salamanders and other amphibians that require a fish-free habitat.
