We booked our campsite very last minute and the staff was extremely helpful and kind! The only down fall to this reservation was we booked an electric tent site and the site the put us in and the ones around it had no electricity. The electric boxes were filled with wasps and spider webs... so if…
We’re more River focused than interested in a cave during a pandemic. So, I dunno about the cave.
Good river access, logical layout, standard Missouri state park fees and layout. The wifi got knocked out during a flood and may not be replaced.

We camp here multiple times over the last five years. Great staff, lots of things to do,
multiple different floats and a great tube loop.
A beautiful place in the woods the host are so helpful the bath and shower houses are so clean along with the campsites and yes they have a coin laundry room on site which is also helpful . This is a great place for everyone young and old
Love it here it is quiet and peaceful but not too far away from the main road
We have several times been switched from 5 mile float to 3 mile float without warning. Understand that if river is high that it’s needed. Last time was told that it was still not clear from flood years ago. They should stop having that as an option if that is true.
I’ve been here a few times but stayed here for a birthday weekend away! The resort was completely booked up so the camping areas were a little full but no problem! The showers and bathroom house was walking distance from our camp but unfortunately a few of the showers on the female side didn’t…
Stayed here this weekend (I usually go on a few float trips a year) and it was fun as always!! Cleanest showers and bathrooms so far this summer! The only confusing thing was the camping lots there was a little confusing over have the lost were separated but the security helps us and another group…
The road back to the park was narrow. The campground was very well maintained.

The welcome center has a lot of information and the cave is awesome. They have camp sites and river access close by. Makes a great float trip get away.
Beautiful scenery all around you with river access.
The area as a whole is neat. The primitive sites are spacious and lovely. We have an rv with 50amp service and essentially, we were on a converted parking lot next to a pavilion. The sites facing the river were a bit nicer.
There is security that drives around to check on everyone which is nice…
We booked a RV trip here with another family. We were able to reserve side by side and had a great time. We even scheduled a float trip. The general store has most everything you need, its quiet, family friendly and well maintained. There were many activities to choose from. We are excited to go…
I've been going to klondike since I was in the scouts. Once I started to drive I tried to go out atleast once a year.
We stayed in our pop-up camper that was close to the road at the front of the campground. Across the road was the river so we were close to the river which was very nice. We did take a walk through the campground which is very large. We found a dry riverbed where we looked at rocks. There was a…
