Fun Weekend Getaway!

Booked online, pictures were a little deceiving for double campsite. Unless you are a family camping together I would avoid. Park attendant very helpful moved us to site 61. We absolutely loved it. Electric hookup, great site for our pop up. View of the lake and easy access to the boat ramp and…

Great private campground

Great campground if you need full hook-ups. All the bells and whistles. Clean bathroom, laundry, pool, playground, dog run, hiking trails and firewood that you can actually burn. It's off the beaten path but still close to everything. Friendly people and very accommodating.

Great campground for fishing and views

My family and I stayed on the very tip of the campground (site 59). The views were great and we even had a private staircase right down to the water. The site was big & level but it was all gravel. There is not a designated swim area so bring your fishing pole and catch crappie from the shore.…

Quiet State Park

We stayed in the Pittsburgh park because it offers water and electric, the rest of the park is electric only. Large spots available, but somewhat crowded in the electric/water sites in the 100s loop. Beautiful Lake Pomme de Terre right here and accessible from multiple places. Deer Everywhere!!

Camping,Kayaking, fishing 13 Riverfront De, Lebanon Mo

Nestled in the woods just beyond Bennett Springs State Park is just a slice of camping heaven! Lower campground area is just a picture perfect as the campground winds along a section of the Niangua River. Campground supports any type of camping. Upper level has new full service sites. Great…

Good Campground Overall

Love the layout of the whole campground.
Pros:The setup between restrooms and water with the sites are appropriate for accessibility. Good room and nice level areas where we stayed in the 400 loop. Cons: Lots of rocks in the tent areas. Lot of vegetation around making some bugs prominent.

Best place on the Niangua

I’ve camped all up and down the river for 20 years now, and the folks at Riverfront are hands down my favorite. They take care of there customers and they have so many employees I see year after year I know they take care of them too. It’s nice to see familiar faces.

They do a great job of…

Wonderful fall camping!

Had an excellent time camping in October. Even though it rained, the scenery was wonderful and the campground was well maintained. I will definitely be going back again!

Our Favorite campground on the Niangua

We have camped here several times and always love it. Level concrete pads on most sites. The sites are fairly large so you’re not on top of your neighbor. It has a playground and a large area in the middle of the loop for playing. The river has a couple nice gravel bars for swimming. All the RV…

Waterfront Camping!

Pomme de Terre is one of our favorite Missouri campgrounds.  Most spots are lakefront on an uncommercialized lake. I fish from a kayak and was never overwhelmed by boats and the fishing is fantastic. Camp spots are clean, has shower house and clean bathrooms.  There are two swim beaches and boat…

Pretty but needs help

The camping areas are pretty but there’s no water access from camp sites. Also plan to walk to the bathrooms or plan to hear people walking by all night headed to the bathrooms. Lots of tree coverage so every site is shaded almost entirely, but that means lots of sticks that have to be cleared…
