The property puts you in the heart of California wine country -- you’ll be right off Highway 29, aka St. Helena Highway, which takes you north to Napa Valley towns such as Yountville, St. Helena, and Calistoga. Or head west to explore more wineries in neighboring Sonoma County. For those more interested in natural attractions, Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is about 30 miles away and offers trails for hikers and mountain bikers. In less than 60 miles, you can be at Bodega Bay to take in the California coast. First Class Glamping Experience.

The property has a park like feel and is just a 10-minute stroll to the heart of downtown Napa with lot's of options for a fun time; dining, wine tasting, live music, brewery, kayaking and cycling.

Set among the creekside Redwoods and the bountiful gardens, our 2018 Airstream Globetrotter is fully equipped and staged. Our property is just outside downtown Napa and is also home to our camping trailer that we affectionately call Lucy. The 2020 Riverside RV Retro 171DRD features a queen-size bed, separate shower and toilet, kitchen, and a cozy eating area. We’ve got a great location right on Napa Creek, where Lucy sits among redwood trees next to an Airstream that we also rent to guests. Our private residential property is just a 10-minute walk to town where you can find restaurants, bars, shops, and the Napa River.

All the conveniences of home are offered in the trailer, including running water, a shower, a breakfast nook that converts into a lounge, closet space, and a fully equipped kitchen with a 3-burner stove, microwave, oven, sink, and dishes. Lucy was purchased new in 2021 and can hold a maximum of two guests.

Point Pinole in Richmond, designated as a state historic landmark, offers a variety of scenic trails leading through marshlands, eucalyptus woods, and beaches on San Pablo Bay. Along the bay trails are spectacular views of Mt. Tamalpais and the Marin
shoreline. The climate at Point Pinole is influenced by breezes and fog from the bay and offers a cool alternative to the hot inland weather. The park includes several picnic areas, a fishing pier, a group campsite, a climbing structure for children, a volleyball area, and a horseshoe pit. 

The group campsite located south of the pier is a sheltered, cozy site that includes basic amenities such as water, cooking grills, storage for gear, and restrooms nearby. A shade structure provides coverage for the picnic area.

When you think Napa Valley, you think of wine, not camping. But you can plan a wine vacation from behind the flap of your tent. Set up in one of the valley’s campgrounds then visit the many casual tasting rooms that won't mind dirt under your fingernails.  When you tire of drinking wine, hike Mt. St Helena, a dormant volcano. Or walk through the Petrified Forest, a forest that was turned to stone by the last eruption of the volcano. Or visit California’s Old Faithful, a nearby geyser.


Once you have found camping in California’s Half Dome in Yosemite Valley, center yourself in Tuolumne Meadows, a more remote section of the park with its own collection of charming granite domes. Here's a secret: Instead of joining the crowds of day hikers on the meadow's most popular trails, follow the backpackers north on the famed John Muir Trail. The trail meanders through meadows, along a river below alpine peaks. And best of all, the first 8 miles of this trail out of Tuolumne are flat. Hike until you find a spot to watch the marmots, then return to your campsite. For more, backpack another 23 miles to Reds Meadow where you can catch a shuttle back up to Tuolumne.

Wildhaven Sonoma is the top-rated glamping spot in the Bay Area. Our glamping experience was designed to provide guests with comfort, warmth, and cleanliness, while still maintaining a close connection to Sonoma County’s stunning natural beauty.

Guests check in to extra-large, safari-style tent cabins with comfortable beds (with linens and heated mattress pads), electricity & heaters, WiFi, and all the furnishings needed for a memorable night outdoors. Outside the tent, guests have a personal fire pit, a covered porch with patio furniture, and a large picnic table. Those seeking more comfort and features can book tents with 2-person hammocks, festive string lights, and unobstructed views towards the Mayacamas mountains.

Then there are the amenities, which are not typically found at traditional campgrounds. These include a clean, updated bathroom building, hot showers, an outdoor kitchen with dish-washing sinks and gas BBQs, a store with local treats, and activities such as yoga classes, local wine tastings, and live music.

The highlight of the 10-acre property is the private river access for guests. Wildhaven’s section of the Russian River is calm yet clean and perfect for innertubes. Wildhaven is surrounded by vineyards on 3 sides and is in the middle of the famous Alexander Valley wine-growing region. When it's time to venture out, Wildhaven is just 5 miles from the charming small town of Healdsburg, with its picture-perfect town plaza filled with palm and redwood trees and surrounded by 30+ tasting rooms, book and cooking stores, and ice cream shops.

Book now for Spring and Summer campsites! Clear Lake Campground is small vintage campground, established in the 1950s. Camp right on Cache Creek, the only outlet of Clear Lake. The campground is on Cache Creek and a car or boat is required to get to Clear Lake. For lake fishing, Redbud Park, Highlands Park and Austin Park are all within a ten minute drive from Camp. Austin Park also has a playground and swimming beach. The park offers rustic charm with great fishing and bird watching right from your campsite. We have a boat launch for your kayak, canoe or motor boat and we have canoe and kayak rentals. Cool off in the small pool. Challenge your family to a ping pong tournament or corn toss game. Lake County guests enjoy stunning vistas, world-class wines, the largest freshwater lake in California, the cleanest air in the US and endless outdoor activities. Activities include fishing, birding, kayaking, biking, hiking and wine tasting. Our staff have been trained as tourism ambassadors and can help you make the most of your vacation. Limited wifi. Campsites are hard packed dirt. Please note, our small vintage campground is best suited to small to midsize trailers and motor coaches. Sites range from 25-40 feet long and 18-24 feet wide. Please plan accordingly.
