Great camp with a pretty view

This was our favorite campsite on our road trip! The campground was quiet, clean, and beautiful!

Great spot for an overnight stay

This place was a very nice spot for any overnight stay on the way up to Oregon. The woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. There is great shade in our site (A6) and a nice table. Kudos for the large dog park, now if I can only solve for the a*holes who can't be bothered to pick up…

It may be gone now

I rolled into this campground and it was vacant. Likely closed? Nice and flat under a canopy of pine. I tried to pay online but was unable to, there was no drop box. The restrooms were locked up. Regardless we set up camp. There was a fire pit but did not use it. Left at 7am and never saw a…

So, we already knew we were in trouble. Lassen Volcanic was closed(it was on fire), which is the whole reason we were here. Lots of smoke, but the campground wasn't in danger. We came in anyway. This was the last stop before we started home.

The campground had a lot of cancellations, so it was…

Too loud, too hot and too close together.

Sweltering hot and the campsites are just too close together. Probably delightful in the fall or spring.

A little too close for comfort

The campground has several campsites for tents and trailers. Each time we stayed at this campground, I became more and more disappointed. The campground is much too close to Hwy 36. You can see the highway from most campsites, the creek runs close to the busy highway as well. There also seems to be…

Overnight Stay

We stayed one night. Really enjoyed the area. The river close by and all the beautiful trees, flowers and plants. Will definitely stay again.

Out of the way and peaceful

If you're up for driving down a bumpy gravel road for 5-6 miles, this campground is a hidden gem within Lassen. Facilities are clean, sites are decent sized and there's a beautiful lake (Butte Lake) and a couple of great hikes that you can do directly out of the campground. We did the Cinder Cone…

Nice Private Campground

This campground is just south of Lassen Volcanic National Park.  It has two main sections, one for RVs and the other for tents.  There are a small number of RV sites with full hookups and then a larger number of tent sites.  The RV sites are fairly small, but felt separated enough to have some…

Hot Smoky summer nights

Aside from the smoke and the heat these campsites are very spacious and wide open. Bear boxes are a must if you don’t want the big guys in your camp. We never had an issue but many other campers did. Lake level is definitely low but that was to be expected with the lack of rain this year.

Hidden off highway

Creek runs right by the campground. This campground is about 4 miles off highway 36. Horseshoe pits are right across from camp host. Was very quiet

Little campground, not to much privacy

This little campground is best gotten to by Highway 44. A fire went through here a year or so ago, so it’s slowly coming back. A lot of local teens use this as a party camping spot, so be prepared.

Nice quiet RV park

I have stayed here several times as a waypoint on my travels between California to Washington. It is a nice safe quiet park that has many pull through spaces for RVs spending the night. I have used their website to reserve a space and then pick up the paperwork outside the door of their office.…

Lovely Camp! Quiet

We had a lovely night here at Jamison Creek Campground in Plumas-Eureka SP! We are from the Midwest & some local friends recommended this spot. Our site (36) was spacious, had great trees to sling up the hammock, and backed up to the creek which provided a lovely soundtrack. The moonlight that…

Perfect Getaway

The campsite was very easy to find, but also very secluded. When we arrived, only 3 other sites were taken. We met a very kind older woman who had been there a while & said that not many people know this place exists, so it doesn’t get very busy. The campsite was well kept. We had a picnic…
