Sites by the river

The sites along the River are beautiful. There is a great off leash dog area along a trail next to the river.

Great Spot, very windy

Wonderful spot. Sites were kinda small, but we we able to fit 2. -6 person tents and a 4 person in a row. Wasn’t windy when we got there in the morning, but that night the wind started and almost blew everything away. STAKE down, no matter the weather. Water was super warm, but gets icky in the…

Great little overnight spot

This campground made for a great overnight getaway trip. We went in late may and the weather was perfect for traditional camping activities. The mosquitoes were out in full force so bug spray is a must. There are some nice places to fish that are just a short walk from the campsites and the…

Stopped for a day and it was great

Stopped there for the night, went from LA to Portland. Our campground was semi flat and big grounds. Bathrooms clean and quick accessible water. The only issue we had was there was no trashcans anywhere close to us and also our campground happened to be by the entrance and by the busy street, so…

Where money buys your happiness

A place for the wealthy. Your RV must be less than 20 years old. Double check before you make the journey. This a place where safety and security is A+, I feel it safe here and a very beautiful well kept place. You have basketball court, spacious rv lots and a nice swimming pool if open. This the…

Nice sites but limited activities

The campsites are well spaced and have full hookups and a nice table and fire ring. It has lake front, kayak rentals, and a mini golf course. It does not have trails for biking or hiking, or a good place to go running. For hiking, check out Inks Lake state park.

Great park off the 5

We had to evacuate due to fires, but we got a spot here and scored. The facilities were great. Clean bathrooms and showers, fire pit, pool, and a lot more. We only spent one night here, but a lot of families seemed to be here for much longer. It's a great place to keep the kids entertained and give…

Strict rules but clean facilities

If you need a place to stop and sleep and nothing else, this is your place! Clean bathrooms in the remodeled facility, easy pull through spots fitting both big rvs and little vans like mine. Hot and windy, but very quiet little park and didn't hear highway at all.

Very Hot

Not much to the site. It was very hot and a distance to the lake. Not to mention the rangers were very grumpy.

First Stop - Joshua Tree

This is always our first stop when we go to Joshua Tree.  It has all services as well as a little Visitor Center.  There is water here so we use it to stage going into the main park for the first come fist served sites the next day and to make sure we have enough water for those campgrounds which…

Good spot to regroup

After a 3 week long roadtrip hauling a trailer, Durango Resort was a nice change from our usual wooded or beach campsites. We chose it for its convenient location on our route, and for its sparkling pool and hot tub, which was a huge win for our kids. No fire rings at the sites, but nice communal…
