Campsites with 30 amp electricity and water hookup: 30 sites, 8 people per site allowed. Includes picnic table with shade shelter, fire ring, back-in RV parking, restrooms with showers nearby. Primitive Campsites (Hike-in): 50 sites. 6 people per site. Backpacking equipment is required. Fires are prohibited; you can use containerized fuel stoves for cooking. Carry out all trash and dispose of it responsibly. A maximum of six people can camp at each site; each primitive area has numerous sites. Off-trail hiking and rock climbing are not allowed. Pets are allowed on leash; pick up and dispose of pet waste properly. Please practice Leave No Trace principles, as the park has sensitive natural and cultural resources. Area C is closed to camping.

If you don't want Wi-Fi service cell service or television signal. This is the place for you while I know most won't agree with me. That's okay to each his own. The staff was very unfriendly. I would not return. Besides doing stuff outside? When I go inside my camper, I would like to use Wi-Fi watch TV and surf the internet. The Wi-Fi signal that they claim that they have. You have to literally sit on a bench outside the door of the office and you get about one bar.

I tent camped for several days here. The staff are helpful, bathrooms are super clean with soap, decent water pressure and everything is so well kept. I was thoroughly impressed and will be back to try the other sites. I stayed at turtle falls. It was so peaceful listening to the water all night.

The park was clean. However the grass around the electrical outlet and water was very tall and snaky looking at 9:30pm at night.
ScoutThis is a great place to sit for a couple of days. Easy access off of I10 and far enough away to muffle the sound. The park is clean, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. They allow their chickens and goats to roam freely around the park. We watched a group of does headed down to the river to water. We purchased a dozen eggs and some ice from the store, and the camp host delivered them to us. I we travel I10 again this will be one of our stops again. Might just take a couple of extra days and explore the area.

This place is BRAND NEW and has all the bells and whistles.
Loved the modern pool and pickle ball courts they had available. Something about waking up and seeing soo many deer walk around the resort was the highlight of my stay. We were even able to rent a golf cart and explore the 250-acres of nature.

I stayed one night and found the park to be well maintained and clean. Great for families given the proximity to the water and trail systems—there were lots of big family groups, so if you want a quieter retreat it may not be the best. Bathrooms are older, but the hot water was great. Large parking lots for those with primitive sites.

Our RV GPS wanted to take us farther east on I-10 to exit 455, but we followed the campground’s (CG) website’s westbound instructions that matched Waze and Google Maps. From Exit 451 to the CG was an easy drive. We were met as we entered the (CG) by the owner, Brenda. We had asked for a satellite-friendly site and she had us going to back-in site 9, but thought we might like a pull through site better. She led the way in her golf cart to look at each of the sites. We stuck with our original plan and took back-in site 9 with FHUs. When we were checking out sites, we were met by the farm’s goats, which was really cool. We had no issues with the utilities and the water pressure was good. Although Brenda had identified a water leak at our site, Robert quickly ensured it wouldn't affect our stay. We got 3 bars on Verizon, and though trees are scattered about in the CG, we had no issues putting out our Starlink. Campsites are nicely spaced apart with a picnic table and fire pit. The only discount they give is military due to their son currently serving. Later after we got set up, Robert and Brenda came by to deliver the farm fresh eggs that we ordered at check-in. At the CG’s quaint little store, you can start a tab for items such as eggs, jams/jellies, ice, and firewood. The store also has hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, soaps, and laundry items. They do not have a laundry but we found a nice one in Junction. They have a very clean shower house. The owners are super accommodating and sincerely care how your stay goes. At the end of your stay, they bill you for any remaining balance for your site and for any items you purchased from the store. There was plenty of space to walk our dogs around the property of this large pecan farm along the river. This was one of the best private CGs we’ve stayed.

Nice park but unfortunately overnight in your RV is no longer allowed. It’s posted throughout the park that only tent camping is allowed and day use only for RVs.

Friendly staff that helped us out when we were late and had no reservation! Close to the river, clean restrooms, pretty quiet overnight except for some traffic noise from the bridge.

ScoutWe loved this campground. Lots of places to walk & saw wildlife every day. Restrooms were clean & very nice. The washers are bigger than a lot of RV parks too. The staff is very friendly & accommodating. We extended our stay 3 times! If you're in the Texas hill country, this is definitely the place to stay.

We’ve camped here 3 summers in a row because there is nothing like it . Huge campsite area with so many activities your family won’t be bored. Water park , mini golf, River access and so much more. There is a restaurant on site and a store with anything you might need on your stay. Laundry room and clean showers. I will Keep Camping here with my family . Try the brick oven pizza, you will not be disappointed. There is a cute little wagon that sells coffee and breakfast items in the mornings. There is also a snack bar for a quick bite by the pool. I recommend renting a golf cart, the site is too large to walk everywhere. Try the rec room activities, it's a fun way to cool down when the kids have had too much sun.

CONS. Park ranger(lady) was very rudely and racist towards us made the trip to be okay. I hope others don’t get the same treatment.

ScoutThis is an amazing place to get away. The owners are very amiable and helpful, and they have a terrific little store to buy farm-fresh eggs, goat milk soaps, and jams. They also have a little free library inside the store if you need something to read! They are also backed up right next to the river, and have wild deer roaming around.
TravelerIt’s close to the road so easy to get to. It’s a very charming and quiet place. RVs are well placed and not crowded. There were deer feeding and running wild. They have a cute little store with delicious pecans and T-shirts etc. I highly recommend and we certainly will be making a repeat visit.

GuideThe area is in a small valley so the spots are cramped together. The park itself, is beautiful. I was here on a Spring break night, so it was very busy. I’m not sure if I should complain about the following since it’s not the park’s fault. My neighbor kept using my electrical outlets (and water). This wouldn’t be a problem if I didn’t need to use it myself. I tried to ask them, but they didn’t speak English. I know they are not mine, but it’s aggravating. The park host was not answering their door. Then, later, they started their charcoal with diesel fuel which was right next to my truck RV window. This was the charcoal they used for cooking! SMH. There is no cell signal, there is wifi right at the visitor center.

The rec center had a nice kitchen and tv/cable setup and a small convenience store onsite. I would stay again without question.
