"Not as quiet and a bit more busy than most Texas state parks we frequent but the kids really enjoyed watching the planes and the skyline views"
Great for the family! Has 80 ft pull through with full hookup. Five cabins. Two swimming pools and hot tub. River and state park access. Nice store and friendly staff. Bathhouse, dog park, playground. Weekend activities like movie night, s’mores, hay rides, and petting zoo. Very clean.
Gated. Level pads. Quiet. Dog park. Play ground. Wifi. Cable. Lake.
This typically isn’t our type of park but the kids enjoyed it. We went in October and they had some fun Halloween activities. Site was pull through but pretty tight and close to neighbor. Probably worth paying for premium. Nice large dog park and clean restrooms/bathhouse.
Was there attending races at HoT Speedway. Propane refill, nice driveway, easy to navigate campground, two dog parks, lots of open land to go roam, pool.
Oh yeah, breakfast is AWESOME! We payed more than if we woulda gone out because we were so impressed. But, it was technically free breakfast.
We are headed south. I look for spots close to interstate. The park is clean, well kept and no appearance of lost long timers. The attendant put us in spot 59 across the street from the dog park. But more importantly a big open field with a walking path around it. Made our fur babies happy. I get in a hurry when we are moving again so we did not try the breakfast. I'm sure it was great. Definitely, a place to stop along Texas I-35 south of Dallas.
Sites are level, clean and have full hookups. Staff is very friendly, there is a pool, hot tub, small bike park, dog park and weekend activities. right next to Dinosaur Valley State park and dinosaur world and short drive from Fossil Rim. This is our second stay and will definitely be back.
The park was well maintained and had lots of amenities. Quite the community feel. Our spot was 171 and was very well shaded, the only thing is our trailer was level but we felt like we were leaning back. We were by the dog park but only experienced bad smell once. The staff was nice, friendly and helped us back in as we are still newbies.
Well kept RV Park with friendly staff. This park sports an "old side" and "new side". It offers covered sites (extra cost), propane fill station, dumpsters, bath/toilet houses, laundry room, dog park, pool with sun or shaded seating, small storefront, WiFi & cable, free waffle breakfasts on the weekends and a fishing pond. Located just off the highway makes for an easy commute for work or adventures. Some of the sites are quite cramped. It took 20 minutes to get into our spot due to many trees and other campers/ vehicles. Spent one week here and probably would not stay here again due the very loud traffic noises.
If you need to be in the big city, Dallas/Fort Worth, this was place is perfect. Located in Arlington smack dab in between D/FW. Just down the road from the Cowboys Stadium (if that is your thing LOL). 25 minutes to downtown Dallas and 20 to Fort Worth. Beautiful tree filled park. Super well maintained with a mix of pull through and back in sites. There is a ton of shade, a pool, dog park and on site very tidy laundry room with Apple Pay machines. The staff was helpful and super nice. We don’t always want to stay in the city, but if you have to this is a great place.
