ScoutDidn’t reserve ahead of time took the last spot available it was a ADA spot. Was $28 a night and non resident with a state park sticker is an additional $15… spot had no hook ups pit toilet next door up hill.

GuideWonderful campground with waterfalls and hiking opportunities for families and adventures. Some mosquitoes but that comes with the adventure of being outdoors. Most sites are pretty isolated with foliage and trees. DNR staff were knowledgeable and friendly. This is a rustic campground with 3 vault toilets and drinking water locations spread out among 35 sites. No dumpstation at the campground for RVs but you can use the dumpstation at Pattison SP which is about 30 minutes. Wisconsin is loosing there position on the use of generators in there state parks that do not have electric at sites. You need to get the ok from the DNR staff. I would stay at this campground again if passing through this area.
LegendI love campgrounds where you get to camp amongst the tall pines (not sure what kind they are)! Large campground with lots of amenities! Right off the highway so you will get some road noise even at night. But if you're lucky to have a site farther from the road you really can't hear much!

RangerNice enough country campground, with some beautiful lake views, especially the newer section on the west side. This area has sites with W/E and full hookups. The older section of the campground is electric only. This area has several tight turns and hard to back into sites, but is more wooded than the newer section. The new side has widely spaced sites with tall pines. Taking off one star for the coin-operated showers and the absolutely ridiculous placement of the dump station that requires maneuvering around one of the campground loops and blocking part of a main road to dump from the correct side of your RV. An updated dump site in the new section would be a big plus….
LegendSt. Croix SP: was quite buggy due to a lot of recent rain. Highly recommend fogging your site or having a bug enclosure to help ward of the mosquitos. Multiple restrooms and showers throughout the campgrounds. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table and wood can be purchased at the office. Cell service is fairly spotty here so come with podcasts or shows downloaded ahead of time!
ScoutIt's very nice with beautiful views of the water. I will say that ticks have been a issue on my dogs. Other then that love it!
GuideThere's another small site cut out from the road that's somewhat separated from the main sites. There's enough room for small campers. Road is good.
