    SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Several RV campgrounds operate in the Delaware Water Gap region near Wallpack Center, offering options from full-hookup RV campsites to seasonal resorts for big rigs. Mountain Top RV Park provides full-hookup sites with 50-amp electrical service in a wooded setting with spacious pull-through options for larger vehicles. Pleasant Acres Farm RV Resort accommodates big rigs and offers seasonal camping from April through October with water, electric, and sewer connections. "The RV sites were mostly pretty flat, spacious and in a wooded area which we loved," noted one camper about Pleasant Acres. Thousand Trails Timothy Lake South features pull-through sites that can handle larger motorhomes, though visitors mention the spaces are "long but narrow" with some sites positioned close together.

Steep mountain roads leading to several campgrounds may present challenges for longer RVs and fifth wheels. Cell service varies significantly throughout the region, with visitors reporting poor reception at Timothy Lake South where "Verizon is 25 down 10 up, T-mobile is unusable." Most parks maintain operating seasons from May through October, though a few like Scotrun RV Resort remain open year-round. Dump stations are available at most locations, but trash service differs between properties. Many campgrounds allow pets and provide amenities like swimming pools and recreational facilities. During peak fall foliage season, advance reservations become essential as sites fill quickly with weekend travelers from nearby metropolitan areas.

      Kymers Camping Resort

Fun, friendly & nestled in the woods

We stayed at Kymer's on a whim for a weekend, so we could be close to Mountain Creek for a Spartan Race. It truly exceeded our expectations in all aspects. This is a family friendly, camper-friendly place. Lots of seasonals- everyone waves, everyone stops to chat. This is what a campground should feel like. The sound of laughter and play sitting around the huge, clean pool was refreshing. Our site was Oak 10. It was level, good placement of electric water & sewer connects. Camp store has all the basics you might need. There is a brook that flows adjacent to the property. It's peaceful & magical. Pet friendly, although we didn't have our pup with us. We will be back again. I almost feel like I'm revealing a hidden gem with this post. 💎

      Colonial Woods Family Resort

      Not big rig friendly.

Ok so let me start off by saying. If we still had our smaller travel trailer this review would’ve been at least 4 stars. However this place is not the place for you if you have a fifth wheel. The roads are very narrow, pretty sizable boulders on both sides, trees are very low and need to be trimmed (almost took my ac out with a huge limb). Now if you’re not big rig camping like we do, this place is great for you. Close to the ringing rocks and three other towns. We were able to do so much even though it rained the entire weekend we were there.

      Mountain Vista Campground

      Mt Vista Campground

Beautiful Campground. Clean. Gravel sites. Fire ring and picnic table. All sites have ample room. Lots of pull through for bigger rigs. Wooded. Large dog park. Love the Campground except our site is near a fairly busy road which takes away from that beautiful tranquility. They have camouflaged it as best they could. Friendly staff. Lots to do. Pool, tennis. Sauna, pond for fishing ( catch & release ). Would definitely recommend.

      Tobyhanna State Park Campground

      Great family campground

This place only gets 4 stars because I thought we were going to have water and electric hook ups. They only have 2 kinds of sites, modern electric (only electric) and primitive. They have a potable water station and dump station and very few sites with electric hook up. They also have specific pet friendly sites. We had a wonderful time here. We went for Father’s Day weekend in June. The lake is gorgeous! Beachfront swimming and boat rentals, great biking and hiking trails. Sites are mostly separated by trees but are still close. Bath houses were very clean and they have a dish washing sink as well. Beach is within walking and biking distance. Two cons- Bath house at the beach is 50 cents for a 2-minute shower, so we just went back to the campground bath house to clean up. The playground near sites 53-56 is a little underwhelming. Otherwise was a great stay! We already booked another stay in September this year!

The Pines Campground — Promised Land State Park

Quiet, just remote enough, a Great Lake, and nice camp hosts

I stayed for three nights in a pull through trailer site with 50 AMP and 30 AMP electric. Easy to get in and out of, nice and shady, big spaces so you were not on top of one another, and nice and quiet. Clean and modern bath house, water close by, and great camp hosts. Definitely recommend it.

      Mahlon Dickerson Reservation

      Nice, small, spacious campground

We stayed at site 15 for 5 days. The sites are nicely wooded, very well spaced, fairly level with 50A service and water hookup. Although the water spigots were shared between sites, they provide hose caddies that should reach most RV hookups. No sewer hookup, but there is a convenient dump station. There are no fire rings in the RV section, only raised grills. We had the place pretty much to ourselves during the week, but the weekend did get busy. AT&T had ok data connection with 1-2 bars most of the time. There is no satellite coverage due to the heavy tree canopy. OTA TV was very inconsistent using an external omni antenna. There is no WiFi. There is a very nice network of trails in the reservation, most if not all were leashed dog friendly. There is a very nice restaurant, Stone Water, less than 10 miles away and is right on lake Hopatcong.

Lower Lake Campground Northwoods Area — Promised Land State Park

      Northwoods Campground

Big sites with 30 amp service available for RVs and trailers. Each site has a large picnic table and a fire ring with an adjustable grate. The pull-through sites don’t offer much in the way of privacy, but that’s the trade off for convenience. There are two potable water spigots in the campground. The bathhouse offers warm showers, 2 dishwashing sinks, and a coin-operated washer and dryer. The facilities are kept very clean. On the weekends it can get pretty crowded, so it tends to be louder at night then, but the camp hosts and the rangers do a good job of enforcing quiet hours. Access points to several trails are very near the campground. As with all PA state parks, alcohol is prohibited. The park doesn’t have a camp store, however, there is a small general store on Route 390 (The Lake Store) just north of the park that would have any essentials you may have forgotten, as well as ice for your cooler.

      Panther Lake Camping Resort

      Stayed all summer

We stayed at Panther Lake as full timers all season. Great during the week but very busy on weekends. Could be noisy with children not very well supervised.
Friendly, helpful staff. Cable TV poor when it rains. Cell service spotty all carriers. No internet at sites. Lake beautiful and pool nice.

      Jerry's Three River Campground

      Friendly and fun!

I have been camping at Jerry’s for over 10 years now. The owner is friendly and stops to chat often with us each time we go. The campground is VERY rustic with little to no amenities. There are tent sites, seasonal sites for RVs, group tent & RV sites and group/pavilion sites. There are little to no sites with electric/water hook ups however, there is a centrally located water spout to use. There are bathrooms/wash houses- they are cleaned once or twice a day but honestly, they get filthy. Jerry’s is a good place for a great time with friends; large groups usually visit Jerry’s year after year. No one bothers you and everyone respects the rules, most of the time. ☺️ We have taken our children there often but I wouldn’t recommend or call it family friendly. The location is beautiful and about 2 hours from NYC.

    Guide to Wallpack Center

RV parks near Wallpack Center provide sites with varied electrical, water and sewage connections. Mountain Top RV Park offers spacious pull-through sites with full hookups and 50-amp service, accommodating larger motorhomes and fifth wheels. "The sites were mostly pretty flat, spacious and in a wooded area which we loved," noted one visitor about Pleasant Acres Farm RV Resort, which operates seasonally from April through October. Thousand Trails Timothy Lake South features both back-in and pull-through sites with full hookups, though some campers report tight spacing between sites and limited maneuvering room for larger rigs.

Delaware Water Gap area campgrounds generally require advance reservations, especially during peak summer and fall foliage seasons. Several parks offer amenities tailored to RV travelers including dump stations, propane availability, and laundry facilities. Cell service varies significantly throughout the region's mountainous terrain, with several reviewers noting poor reception at Timothy Lake South.
