Nice, Clean Campground

The campground was well maintained. The bathrooms were well kept, including showers. There is a day use area with a boat ramp, pavilion, beach, and playground. The only downside is the sites are very close together! We stayed in a tent and I booked based on the map. The tent sites are not shown…

Still nice but it has gotten noisy

This is our second review of this campground. While still a well maintained campground, the noise is ridiculous. The fellow a couple of spots over has mowed the grass of his campsite three times since arriving. Nothing like a loud gas mower running constantly to grate on the nerves.

Nice older campground

This is a nice older campground with full hookups including sewer, which makes it nice. Not far from I-55 if you needed some place to stop for the night. Restrooms/Shower house was clean and nice. Washer and dryers available, but somewhat unkept. Putt putt golf course and disc golf on premises.…

Well... you could camp here

This is a small campground, consisting of five tent sites. The websites states you can bring a small camper here, but in wouldn’t try it. The bathrooms are run down and have a port a potty feel. The roads in are horrible. There are people riding off road vehicles in the lake bottoms quite often.…

Beautiful Campground

This is a beautiful campground. Sites are nestled in the woods and neighbors aren’t too close. Much of the campground is closed for winter right now, but the lack of a crowd just adds to the appeal.

Most sites have water and electrical hookups but no sewer. We did see at least one site that did…

Really cool spot!

This place is a gem if you’re a tent camper. We have camped here once, but most of the time it is closed. I am not sure why. Nice little spot with about 8 tent sites. No hookups of any kind for campers. Bathrooms are currently closed, but we’re nice when we stayed there, but old. Drinking water…

Great COE campground!

This is a great little COE campground on Sardis lower lake. It is clean and well maintained. Bathrooms/showers are clean and work well. They have a courtesy dock for boats and a fishing pier with benches. A nice little playground in the center of the park. It can get a little crowded at times,…

Nice and quiet

New to fulltime rv life we chose to spend a week at this quiet off the beaten path campground on our way west . This place offers nice concrete pads with full hookups that are relatively level. Water level in Enid Lake was very low so the swimming beach was closed. That was kind of a bummer…

A decent but older campground.

We stay at Cossar pretty often, due to it being close to home. We have always stayed on the Yocona Ridge loop, and it has been a nice campground. The facilities are dated, but they keep them very clean. We did drive through the other loop (it was empty and closed at the time, the ranger let us look…

Pleasant place to Relax

May be I might have done camping very few time but, out of all this the best Camping site ever. Very pleasant environment, easy access to water body, clean restrooms and showers, electricity and water tap for every site.

Nice and Quiet

Aside from mediocre fire rings and an absorbent amount of weird centipede bugs, the site is well maintained and a great stay. Only a short walk from the beach and the bugs aren’t too bad. The campground is also very quiet which is ideal.

Excellent, large campground on beautiful lake

My girlfriend and I tent camped here for one night. The campground is large and well-kept, with over 100 sites, and the sites are very spacious. Each has a table, water and electric hookups, a hook, and a tent pad. From what I saw, we were the only tent campers in the campground. We camped in site…

Loved it, very relaxing!

This is another great Corps of Engineers parks where you find really nice campsites set on great waterfront setting. The campground sits on Enid Lake which is recognized as one of “One of America’s Top 10 Fishing Spots.” And since the park is just shy of 100 sites you don’t feel like it is not too…

Rough shape for a State Park

We were staying at another nearby campground and decided to drive through GPC State Park to scout out campsites for our next camping trip. The park is located about 10 minutes off the interstate and it is also on the shores of Enid Lake.

It seems as if they built the park and haven’t done much…
