Nice place to stop along the way

We just stay for a one night stay along our way. Super nice staff, beautiful campground and so helpful. I would go here again

beautiful and clean

we stayed during a hunting trip and used the campground because of its close proximity to where we hunted. the showers and restrooms were well taken care of ,noticed disc golf there and a pond for fishing. highly recommended stay

OK for an overnight stay - nothing special

We stayed here on our way from one COVID-19 quarantine location to another.  Heavy storms had come through the area the two days before we got there.  Lots of mud and road flooding though receding.  Most of the campers there appeared to be either permanent or transient workers.  The staff was nice but the campground was definitely dated.

Spectacular views of the mighty Mississippi River.

Several of Warfield’s campsites are literally river front. There is a nice boat ramp on the river.

Do t camp here

Used to live in the area. Floods, and is visited by people who are usually up to no good. Completely abandoned and overgrown. Good to see for a day, probably not good to sleep at.

Words can’t Describe

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This park was very dark, arrived late and could not see any camp site markings because it was so dark. The roads to our camp site was horrible . The only good experience was the bath house. It was clean and well lit.

Relaxing

Stayed in a cabin which had everything we needed. Very relaxing. Beautiful setting. Got awesome sunrise photos. Woodpeckers very active in the morning. Cabins are close to the bayou. Would be very cautious with children.

Ugh, creepy

There was only one other camper there, and they were loud and obnoxious. The only plus was a huge beautiful owl that stayed by and visited. The restrooms were full of spider webs. Will not stay there again.

Well-kept campground with lots of good sites

We were we were there midweek, so had lots of available sites. Many of the sites have lots of room and are spaced away from their neighbors. Ranger was very nice and helpful. We chose the loop that overlooked the small lake.

Grenada Lake & history area

Simple waterfront site close to town. Activities like boating, beach, playground, cookouts, very short easy hiking trails, fishing. The campgrounds have a few different loops to choose from, some on a large lake and one on a smaller artificial lake.

Yay: great campground hosts, they were so knowledgable and helpful and take such great care of the site. Very shady with lots of trees and grassy areas to create privacy. Very large camping sites and some are right on the water. Nay: the tent pads are concrete, not my favorite but not a problem really.

Surprise: lots of historical sites nearby (we didn’t go but heard good things).
