Great place to boondock

We love the trails, walking in the creek, and exploring the old town site of Rocky Springs, especially the cemetery.

Beautiful State Park in the middle of the City

This park is in the middle of Jackson, but we couldn’t tell from the serenity of our camping site. We were situated right on the water and enjoyed a breathtaking sunset. We had fun riding bikes around the lake and my kids enjoyed the playground. Bathrooms were about what you’d expect in a park -…

I liked it.

It's been a few years. It was safe and friendly vibe. The staff was strict in enforcing rules. I enjoyed my stay. Locals will post up here. There was a pool.

Siteit was in an r.v.

We love yogi!

Fun campground for the kiddos. Loved all of the activities and amenities available. Water park was ice cold so we didn’t get to use it. Activity center was awesome especially for rainy days. Very good monthly rate. Kiddos were obsessed with jumping pillow. Nice place!

Back at lake Lincoln after 25+ years

I came here once when we were kids, nothing popped out to me then as a kid.

Recently stayed there with my kids mostly because of nostalgia, my kids kinda had the same meh 😐 reaction.

Has a playground, swimming area was closed though.

This is another good park to come to if you're into…

Very busy campground

We had our 1st trip there over spring break.

If you want quiet time, this isn't the best place but if you like a lively and busy one, it's for you.

Large pool, store and Cafe. Playground and jump pads for kids too

Brown water, nice trees

There was flushing toilets which was nice. However the water in the toilets and coming out of the faucets was brown. Bring hand sanitizer.

No Verizon coverage.

Didn’t spend long here but it was pretty. Campsites seemed nice enough. Roads were paved.

Great Family Campground

Campground is set up for kids and families. Nice pool area and playground for the kids. Concerts on the weekends and red stag and potbelly pigs roam freely on the property. They are in the process of adding more sites and a new entry.

Old but good

Grew up coming here for the summer to fish, swim, ski and use the water park. It is an older park but with that being said it has many years left of good camping. The bathrooms are always clean. Many things were closed when we went due to covid but are normally up and running. Love the area. The…

Great spot

Went for a primitive campsite with some guys. Great sites with plenty of room between them. You can easily set two or three tents without having to worry about disturbing other campers.

Excellent state park!

We loved our stay. Beautiful park, nice campsites, heated and clean bathroom, best spots are on the lake. We stayed in spot 15 and it was beautiful.

A couple reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars, even though we loved it. First, we reserved a spot weeks prior and someone was in it when we arrived…

Quirky and Quaint Campgrounds

A quirky campground with lots of trees and great sites right on the Bougue Chito River. It was very quiet when we arrived, but as the Thanksgiving weekend approached more and more campers arrived with families, kids, dogs and bikes. Lots to do in non Covid times such as pool, volleyball, basketball…

Camping at water’s edge.

We brought our kayaks and were able to dock at our campsite. We had a lot of fun playing in the lake. The kids also did some fishing.
