Nice and Quiet

This was our first outing in the RV and we had a blast! Nice, quiet isolated state park in the delta of Mississippi. We brought our kayaks and got some fishing done in alligator lake but inly after playing an 18 hole disc golf course!

good spot to lay-over

No issues with camp ground, small and on the hwy.... easy to stop in for the night. If you have a boat, nice lake across the street. full hook-up, 50amp pull through sites.

nice park

After booking through Arkansas State Parks website, we received a follow up call from the park itself which was unusual but very nice. We booked site 42 in area B but there was standing water in the site so we got site 50. We chose this site because it was on higher ground and relatively close to…

Great location and customer service.

Location is absolutely perfect for those traveling and need a nice overnight or decide to stay a few extra like I did. Great dock across the street with a clean property.

Overnighter

We stayed here one night on our way to Arkansas. $37.50 per night which was high for what you get. Sites were level enough that we didn’t unhook. Stayed here in a 29’ travel trailer. FHU.

Don’t Park at Dark Here

We stayed as an overnight stop. The campground is a no frills campground and nothing special. However, we would not recommend parking after dark. The turns are a little sharper than we would like and the roads are poorly marked in the dark. The owners are friendly and helpful. The sites have some…

OK for an overnight stay - nothing special

We stayed here on our way from one COVID-19 quarantine location to another.  Heavy storms had come through the area the two days before we got there.  Lots of mud and road flooding though receding.  Most of the campers there appeared to be either permanent or transient workers.  The staff was nice…

Words can’t Describe

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This park was very dark, arrived late and could not see any camp site markings because it was so dark. The roads to our camp site was horrible . The only good experience was the bath house. It was clean and well lit.

Relaxing

Stayed in a cabin which had everything we needed. Very relaxing. Beautiful setting. Got awesome sunrise photos. Woodpeckers very active in the morning. Cabins are close to the bayou. Would be very cautious with children.
