Lisa is a very nice host. Campground is very well kept up. Level stites. Good internet reception. Easy in and out pull through. We will be stopping by again.
Very nice , clean Lisa is awesome! Need to up date prices on this site 35.00 a night ! It’s a great stopping place on our travels
This is a sweet little campground. Just off the interstate, but far enough away that you don’t hear the traffic. Staff is super nice and helpful. Wifi is decent. Dog park is generous size. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. There is an outside sink for use if you are tent camping. Nice playground for the kiddos and pool. It’s a small KOA but I highly recommend it.
We stayed here in our 33' travel trailer in September of 2022 on our way back east from Colorado. You can't book online but I sent an email to inquire about reserving a spot and received a reply saying my spot was booked and to pay by cash onsite. It was a super easy process and so easy to get in and out from I-70. In fact, I just reserved a spot for August going back to Colorado. The price has gone up to $35, but still a bargain.
Nice KOA.. refurbing the bathrooms but have a Stahla rental trailer shower /bathroom. We don’t usually use campground bathrooms so it doesn’t matter..Gravel spaces, friendly staff, not cramped. Playground for the kids! Our space had a “personal” very small fenced 6’x8’ dog area
Great place to stay overnight or longer if Goodland is your final destination. It's a KOA so everything is up to par with the brand. Offices and facilities are maintained and clean. Pool was a nice welcome for the kids and I. Playground had lots of kids playing at it and everyone was happy. Definitely would stay here again.
Convenient, price was right. If you stay, check out breakfast in the morning, very good!
Campground is convenient off of I 70 on the way to Colorado. Staff were helpful and gave us a cable cord to borrow. Sites are on top of each other, wish we didn't like. Bathrooms were very clean. Full hook ups were nice, this was our first visit to a KOA. The pool was a welcome site on a very hot July day.
This is an old KOA with new concrete patios. You have to swing wide to pull in and there is a tight straight spot where you stop to register but doable for my Motorhome. Basic RV park with full hookups with level gravel lots. Pull through spot # 61 accommodated my motorhome and tow, which is 67 feet long. Checking was quick and the attendant was very nice.
Great place to stop by last minute on the way to Denver. We were able to call in advance and get a reservation. Easy process and we could drive right up to our site. Facilities were well-maintained and clean
The campground is well maintained with a friendly staff. The sites are level. Very easy access from I-70
Kinda run down. Easy to get into and park. Ok for a one nighter.
Was a good stop along I70. Easy in and out, though roads in campground can be tight for large rigs.. Staff was nice. Most people stay 1 night. Cable TV worked well. Go see large Van Gough easel nearby
We arrived late but found our site and camped for the night. After camping in a few spots on our road trip it was refreshing to camp in a grassy spot because Midwest! This place was easy to find and has a playground and pool so very kid-friendly. Really enjoyed my first KOA experience! It’s very relaxing.
Nice efficient campground. Fairly small for a KOA but has all the usual amenities. Good clean bathhouse (showers, toilets). Laundry facilities. Nice tent sites on flat ground covered in grass and shaded by trees. Very pastoral setting. Very nice overnight camping spot while traveling.
Just a nice, quiet little spot of land with basic but well-maintained facilities. No forests, lake, trails, or any of that, but in this part of the state such things don’t exist anyway. Perfect as a stopover on the Great Journey between Kansas and Colorado.
Great one night stop. Easy to get to and out!!
Definitely not great but worked for us because of the location. For one you are right next to a truck stop which may not be bad if you are in a RV, but in a tent you can hear every truck the whole night. They have RV and tent sites that’s are basically the same but cost changes. 25 for tent site and like 45 I think for RV.
Right from the start, great customer service. Answered questions quickly, texted me map and info. One of the easiest sites to set up and the price , excellent!
This campground has everything you need for a night or two to take a break from the road. Laundry, pool, full hookups. Ray, the owner, is very friendly. Easy walk to Main St, museums, parks and tourist attractions. Easy on/off I-70. A turn or two is kinda tight in the campground, but certainly manageable in our 38ft Class A with tow car attached.
Simple self serve camping. Full hookup back in camping. 20, 30, and 50 amp electric. Pay with a drop envelope, bring cash ($30).
We were on our way to Colorado, and since we were KOA Rewards members, we decided to stop at this KOA. As the proprietor told us, this campground was just a stopover for those passing through, and that is exactly how it felt. By the next morning, just about all of the other campers were gone. When we first got there, we went to our campsite which was supposed to have electricity and be close to water. It had neither. However, the guy we talked to was kind enough to let us move to a site with both since there weren’t that many other campers. One thing that I discovered about Kansas is that there aren’t many trees as the campgrounds, including this one. Fortunately, the night was cold and breezy, so the sun wasn’t uncomfortable. We built a fire in our little Solo stove to cook hot dogs, and the owner came over to ask if we had a fire. I showed him that it was in our portable Solo stove so it wouldn’t damage the ground. Apparently, ground fires are forbidden in the area, especially since Kansas gets very little rain. There are recreational opportunities, whether or not they get used. There is a swimming pool(which was closed), a basketball goal, and a playground. There is an interesting old house with a windmill next door, but it is on private property. It is, however, great for a photograph. Overall, it’s not too bad of a campground, but there’s not much to do. It is best for those who are passing through to other destinations.
We actually ended up here due to some severe weather forcing us to stop. It turned out to be a great overnight stay with plenty of room to walk the pups and get some exercise before moving on.
It a full service RV Park with full hook ups, free laundry, and a single use bathroom on site. There were also items for purchase by the office.
The park is just off the interstate, but well-sited in that the interstate noise wasn't a factor. The site had full hookups and was well maintained. I didn't use the facilities so I don't have any answers there. The restaurant in the Conoco station, and the restaurant across the street (Handi's), are both good.
Even though this campsite is just off the road it welcomes you with a good spot , laundry , showers , and good food. Check in at the connoco gas station.
