Nice, but close to main road

Campground is big, lots of campers & lots of cabins. Biggest, cleanest, nicest laundry room I've encountered. Pool is good, grounds well maintained. Only downside is it's right off major road, so noisy if you're in the first couple rows. Easy in/out with 38 ft class A.

Expensive but loved it

We were there mid-summer, picked a premium waterfront spot, so, yes, expensive. We had beautiful views, a lot of space, didn't feel cramped or crowded. Plenty of open and wooded areas to explore. Store scoops ice cream! Plenty of kid activities. The sound was fun to float in. Would be an awesome campground if it had a pool. We will definitely return.

Large campground, close to beaches

This campground is large and spots are close together and crowded during summer beach weekends. The owners are wonderful, the facilities are well maintained. They even have security at night - you can't get in without a parking pass. Close to the beach, state park, the outlets and a great bike path . Note, they only accept cash, but ATM is close if you forget. Worth a visit if you want a beach vacation.

Easy access, quiet campground

Staff were very friendly. Large campground but doesn't feel like it. Easy access to main roads, downtown Philly and Jersey Shore.

Excellent for quick access to downtown Milwaukee

Perfect campground for what it is! Big paved parking lot with full hookups. Very close to downtown, right off of interstate. Clean facilities. We were visiting family downtown and it was very convenient.

So much to do!

What a beautiful park. So much to do, beach, hike, bike, horse back ride. Campgrounds can be crowded, lots of families, lots of kids. Campground 3 was a little tight for our 38 ft Class A, but certainly doable. Choose your spot wisely. The park staff were very friendly, very helpful. We needed to move spots, and then had issues with the electric. Everyone we dealt with was very accommodating, helpful, friendly.

Nice campground, very quiet, secluded

Lots of wonderful signs directing you to the campground once you exit the interstate. Secluded. Quite. Not crowded, even when it's full. The roads leading to the campground are narrow, luckily we didn't encounter someone coming the other way! Campground could use some extra gravel on their roads and in the sites, but, still a nice place to relax and recharge.

Spacious, easy in/out, friendly staff

Really beautiful spot. Lots of grass and open space. There is so much space between sites. Easy access from highway. Convenient to KC. Staff are very friendly. Some sites have concrete pads. Some gravel. Some full hookups, some not. Website was easy to navigate. So read descriptions, decide what you want. Site 78 is gorgeous. Top of a hill. Trees for shade.

Perfect for a night or two

This campground has everything you need for a night or two to take a break from the road. Laundry, pool, full hookups. Ray, the owner, is very friendly. Easy walk to Main St, museums, parks and tourist attractions. Easy on/off I-70. A turn or two is kinda tight in the campground, but certainly manageable in our 38ft Class A with tow car attached.

Beautiful views. Strong wifi.

Sites and roads are dirt/gravel, so, yes, dusty. But it's Arizona, hard to grow grass in the desert, so get used to dust! Views from the campground were beautiful, the pictures I saw online didn't do it justice. Clean and modern facilities. No T Mobile signal, but campground had good wifi, so could make calls over wifi. Staff were very friendly, helpful. Close to Zion and North Rim. Really pretty bike/walking path, makes you feel like your away from everything. Definitely tour Pipe Spring National Monument, right up the road.

Amazing! But tight for big rigs!

OMG! What a beautiful campground. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for big rigs. We have a 38' Class A and it was tight. Got in a out safely, but I think it all depends on the site you pick. Site 39C was awesome, private, secluded, couldn't see any neighbors. We were able to pull the Class A in forward and easily back it out upon exiting. Simple walk to the Reservoir, with hiking & biking all around. We'd love to return, but won't until we downsize!

Comfortable, clean, friendly

So close to Arches NP & Canyonlands NP. Mountain biking right out the back gate. Clean facilities. Swimming pool. Dirt roads & dirt pads, so it's dusty …. but most of the western states are dusty! We had a premium spot, spacious and great views. Campground has a military discount which helps with the cost. Staff at checkin and the store were all friendly. We'd stay there again.

Fun State Park with electric and water

Stayed 1 night on our way through. Went sledding down the sand dunes. All spots are blacktop. Park staff were very friendly at check in! Easy to make a reservation online.

Out of season, quiet place to park

We stayed one night, in January, passing through TX. Easy on/off access to I-20. The park is clean, has full hookups, and is right on the river. Wasn't crowded because it was out of season for tubing, so it was quiet. Park felt safe and was a convenient place to spend the night. The people answering the phone were pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again without hesitation when passing through.

A rare find!

Small park, lots of trees and walking/mtn bike trails. Beautiful lake, ducks, fishing piers, swimming beach, playground. Campground is right on the lake. No bad Rv spots! Spots have concrete pads. Full hookup. They take reservations, but not for a particular spot. A really wonderful place to get away! Staff very friendly.

So glad we found this campground!

We stopped here for a two-day getaway in December. The snowbirds are friendly but Deb, the owner, is awesome. Spoke to her several times on the phone before arriving and while there. We are new to RV'ing and this was our first solo trip with the new rig! Deb showed us the lay of the land and encouraged her snowbirds to stop by and say hi (and check on us, offer tips & tricks). We felt well cared for!

Pleasant, helpful staff

Campground is clean and well maintained. Many snowbirds in the winter, but they had room for us to stay a week. The ladies in the office were helpful but on the phone and in person!

Clean campground, pleasant check in

We only stayed one night. Large campground, broken into 3 areas. Lots of camp sites and cabins too. Campground was wooded, clean and had all the amenities you could need.

What an amazing find!

We stopped here for one night in December, passing through. The park had a beautiful Christmas light display with hot chocolate and a Christmas movie playing on a big screen. The park staff were so friendly. There is a small lake with boat rentals. Campground is clean. We want to return and stay longer!

Right on the lake

Campground had tons of room in December. We were right on the lake. Easy park to walk and explore.
