Nice state park close to Wichita

This was our first family outing of the year. We had a nice time. We pull a travel trailer and the hook up spots were fairly spacious. Most of the spots were reserved, but we didn’t feel crowded. Paved and gravel back in sites. In regards to our particular spot, our table was in a very sad state…

Fishing hole

According to a guy I talked to, the whole loop was closed last year and it shows. Almost every site had a lot of debris (just leaves and rotted wood) which I think led to there being a lot of ticks. No one was there so it was super quiet. I think it would be a great spot if it was cleaned up. Sites…

A nice quite stop worth the drive

We stopped here on our way to Kentucky from Colorado. It was easy to find with well paved roads into the camp. Water and power hook ups all worked well. The mornings we're very peaceful here and a walk around the lake was a great way to wake up. The dump station was easy to access, clean and well…

Out favorite place

We camp here quite often. I like that we can take our fur babies. It’s quiet even if there are a lot of campers. People are polite and respectful. The area is always so clean. The camp hosts are great!

Twin Bridges State Park

Nice, no one camping in December. Mostly set up for RVs with some day use areas. Nice vistas of the Neosho River from the Echo Bluff sites with all the leaves down. Biggest detractor is the traffic noise. Didn't check out the boat launch area which was across the highway from the main park…

Campground was quite and clean. Very nice playground in the area. Bath house was clean too. We stayed the second weekend in October.

Great place

Our first trip there was great! You are not able to make reservations BUT we set up a day early and had some great campsites! We were parked right on the water. They have concrete slabs with a great picnic table for each site. There is no sewer and 50 amp service is only on one side. We will…

Wonderful place to visit

We have stayed here twice now, both times it was amazing. The on-site restaurant is a nice perk when you simply don’t want to cook. Small lake, but everything is clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

Not so great anymore

Use to tent camp there 10 years ago or so. Went back to camp and pretty much caters to RVs now. Pretty much campers and fisherman now. Be careful does not say anywhere about reservations. We had been set up and kicking back for over 3 hours before the RUDEST ranger came and told us our site was…

Good for RVs not tent campers

I stayed at twin bridges this past weekend with my wife and our two dogs. Despite nice weather it was less than half full. There aee three distinct areas to camp. One on the east side of HW 137, one on the west side of HW 137, and one south of HW 60. The area south of HW 60 is camper pads and very…

Not in Kansas

Twin Bridges is actually located in North East Oklahoma, not in Kansas. Quite near both Kansas and Missouri. Beautiful sites, busy campground. Great facilities including showers and a playground. Office staff was rather rude, which is unusual in the camping industry, so maybe it was a bad weekend…
