My husband and I stayed there 3 different times now and we like it there. The owners are real nice.
Nice place and people very helpful and beach is so clean
Very enjoyable and relaxing, people were great and nice beach
Great campground for a chill entertaining weekend with kids. Beautiful new pool was perfectly maintained with plenty of tables and chairs to make a day of the time at the pool. Pavilion and picnic area near pool and playground perfect for family gatherings or kids birthdays. Even a small game room.…
Nice place to stay. Camp hosts are great. AT&T has good phone service. Only one dumpster for trash and it's at the entrance to the campground. Shower house is clean and well maintained.
Located on Lake Shelbyville, Bo Wood is an Army Co of Engineers park. Plenty of full hook ups and tent camping spots. Most by the lake. Well kept with bathroom and shower facilities, a playground and laundry.
Stayed here for the night on a roadtrip in a tent only. Right off the interstate. I got there late at night and was able to get a location without a formal reservation. The owners are super nice and we took care of everything in the morning, hassle free.
This campground is very clean and super easy to fit any rig. Most sites have lake views and have electric hookup but no water hookup. However communal bathrooms and showers are clean. Sites are fairly close together tough. You can purchase firewood and ice at campground.
We camped there for a long weekend. It served our needs. We were there for a rally that was held in Leroy. We didn't spend a lot of time at our campsite but when we did it was very pleasant and peaceful. We saw alot of people walking, kids riding bikes, people fishing, just good old fashioned…
We love this place. Problem is it's a State park and the state is not fixed a shower house and dump station. It's been not working since 2020. Because of this, only two stars. If those items works like they should, then four stars.
This is our close to home, fave weekender site. Electric only but still love. Spaced out, gravel sites and asphalt roads. We always get sites with our own private dock to fish from. Spotty reception but it’s great to unplug.
If you have a boat, canoe, kayak, float this is a great campsite for you. The trails were flooded and we didn’t get any internet reception, but we had some great sunrise views. Some of the spots aren’t level and not much space to put your outside gear. The bathrooms were decent.
A lot of golf carts driving around all day and night. Sites are a little to close. Trees in the shaded spots don’t allow you to put your awning out.
One of the nicest on the lake. Clean, well maintained, nice spacious spots, boat ramp and parking, dog run, playground. Reservation made on Recreation.gov. Sometimes available spots for one night. Can stay for two weeks in thirty day period.
Spent a tent night here at the Deer Run portion of the camp. It's a nice, well kept campground with clear level spots. Bathrooms are basic and in the front of the camp loops so you have a walk if you stay in the back like I did. Also, water is in the center of the loop so not very convenient. …
