The sites are very well set up. You have your pick of shady sites or sites with no trees. Kids are welcome.
Love this campground! Family-friendly and quiet. Clean facilities. Close to amenities. Local short hikes as well as access to trails to Mount Monadnock. Limited cell service from some carriers.
Arrived on Thursday Dave’s helped me back in. Unhitch which was a disaster as my battery died. He went and retrieved his motorcycle battery and we finally unhitched the vehicles. He showed me how to set up and generally helped me get things going with a cheerful countenance.
This place is great . Had a delightful stay . Very quiet well managed place to stay . Managers are A1. Very accommodating will definitely return .
Friendly campground, kids and adult paint the weekend we were there. Awesome that they have a dog pond and the fishing was good there too. Lots of seasonal sites. Easy to find. Flat sites.
Nice camp ground with friendly but not nosey neighbors. Fishing was great for the grandchildren to get excited catching something, lots of small blue gill. Kids loved the bike riding. If you have a small craft or paddle boards the water adventures look fun. Life guard on duty kept safety high.…
We just checked out today we were there for a week. It probably would have been a great time, but it rained all week and then they opened the dam. So the lake flooded, the roads, and the beach. We were the only one s that didn't have to move sites. We had a beautiful view, the lake flooded…
Was able to get in. Lots of seasonal campers. Has a swimming hole which encourages lots of bugs. Getting sung to sleep by frogs. Lots of pot holes. Nice pool but full of kids. Nice playgrounds.
After scouting this campground in December, I was able to score a last minute reservation of a waterfront site in July. As a caveat, waterfront in this instance was more of a water view as the lake was on the other side of the campground road and a large open area with trees. Campsites are$17/night…

This is okay for what it is. The staff all seemed very friendly everytime we had interacted with them. The store was convenient. The bathroom was clean, but pretty cramped. Definitely aimed towards more of the RV/camper fields. It seems like the majority of the sites are seasonals. The tent…
This is a city park with a beach and a campground. This is a no frills campground, though there is a playground and beach. It’s less than 2 miles from Salem and on the trolley line.
Pros- very clean, bathrooms kept up with regularly. Staff is very nice. They offer boat rentals, canoes, paddle boats and kayaks. Store on site and they do activities during the week. Definitely more kids friendly I think. They do have a pool, park, dog park, lake and food trucks visits at times.…
I enjoyed this campsite. Great hikes and there are trees that separate campsites. Semi-private and a well kept campground.
