The site was trashy.

Trashy stuff all over, a garbage can that looks like it's been there a year never emptied, molding. had to move trash to park the camper. There are nicer sites but the back end of them are not up kept seemingly at all.

Loved it!

Had such a great and relaxing time! Rented the kayak for an hour multi times. Water is cold and refreshing. The property is remarkably clean and well kept! Always a worker around to help! We made friends with everyone! Love this gem!

Cajun camping - Crawfish Too!!

Seriously, crawfish and shrimp boiled on the weekends! Campground is right off a state highway. Very kid friendly, a large clean pool, mini golf, and lots of space to run and ride bikes! The sites are mostly gravel, with concrete patio area. We are in site 1, and it's quite level. There is a game…

Great for the price

If you like to gamble or just want very cheap spot for your RV this is a great deal. At $19 a night plus tax, this place rocked. Concrete pads and pull-thrus throughout. Pool, lodge(under repair 04/21) and large pond. Nice dog park. Bath/shower house was not the best, but clean enough. Lady at…

We’ll Definitely be back

Is one of the best campgrounds we’ve stayed. Don’t get me wrong bathrooms need a little love but everything else is great. We stayed there for two months Paid 650 per month. Electric, water, sewer, WiFi The first month was kinda rough bc of stupid COVID nothing was open. But the second month…

Good, Louisiana fun!

We’ve not been during the summer, but we loved our kids’ Mardi Gras weekend here. Lots of cultural fun and activities for kids and family. More like a state park when it comes to plenty of shade and room between sites. Barn dances on a lot of weekends with live bands. Fun little place. Lots of…

PRETTY, BUT NOISY

Don't get me wrong, I am not antisocial, but when I go camping I really want the natural quiet of nature. It was pretty busy, with many people gathered and partying. Kids driving crazy on golf carts. Otherwise, the property is pretty. The sites are easily accessible (our camper is approximately…

Dirty Campground

I'm not one to give bad reviews frequently. And hopefully things have changed. But, back in 2016, this was one of the worst and dirtiest campgrounds we have ever stayed at. It wasn't dirt like normal outdoor activity dirt. It was dirt like the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in a year.

Nice spots and river walk

$20 for site with hookups plus $3/person/night. The sites are level with adequate spacing. Showers are clean and hot but pressure is lacking. They are the push kind so you must continually press to keep the water running. The river walk from the campground is really nice. Office is helpful and kind.

Great for hiking, biking, and kayaking

If you like Louisiana Wildlife this is the place for you! I saw a couple of lounging alligators, egrets, snapping turtles, deer, and a chipmunk!!! I was kind of scared when I saw a sign on the trails warning of the gators! As far as RV camping, it wasn't a really nice area. The site we were in…
