Claboughs Campground has been a family campground for decades. They are in the midst of a renovation and facility addition. Enjoyed our first stay so much we changed to stay with them again in November

Our site was a little tight. It was an older site but adequate. They have new premium sites that are larger and concrete by the stream. The new commons area includes a new pool, office, activity room, 12 new great secure private lockable bathrooms with 3 piece bath/shower big enough for a family or…

Great

Started our full time RV trip here in Asheville NC. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Loved the walking trail for our service dog to walk with. Goff family

great location

NIce campground with a gated entrance, very safe. Beautiful location. Excellent tent sites on creek. RV sites are ok, narrow and your fire ring is so close to next RV, we were uncomfortable using it. WiFi is excellent! Park is very clean and quiet.

Neat place to stay.

This is a couple of miles off of a main highway coming down from Severeville do not follow GPS directions through a torturous path of 15 miles of white knuckle driving.

Great place to set up base

First off, the people who run this place are wonderful people. They are easy to work with and very helpful if your plans change. The sites are nice size with very “homey” landscaping. I didn’t feel like I was sharing my site with my neighbors. The facilities were the cleanest I’ve seen in the last…

Great spot in the Smokies

Elkmont is right here n the National Park. Close to great hiking and occasional wildlife. Bears have been extra active this year, and rangers advise taking extra precautions. All National Park campgrounds are primitive, so no water, or electric. Put toilets and no showers. There is a dump station…

Very clean and pretty campground

We camped here over the weekend with our dogs. We were in the designated tent area, which was right on Jonathan creek. Our campsite had a firepit and a small picnic table on a platform. The tents had to be in grass. To the bathroom it was a little walk on a paved road. The bathhouse was very clean…

Right on the river

This campground is right on the river. Sites are well spaced, so you are not on top of your neighbors. Lots of trees and shade. Pool and playground. Full hookups and dump station. There is a small store.

Small, and needs some upkeep

This is a small campground, it is a little worn. But it’s still quiet and family friendly. It is right on the Little River, and some sites are on the water. Sites are a little tight. Full hookups. Dump station. Pool and playground.

This is an older campground that needs some upkeep but it is nice and quiet. There are lots of trees, and shade. It is right on the Little River, some sites back to the river. Very large RVs May have tried. Pool, playground and camp store. Full hookups.

They squeezed in as many as possible

First of all, it’s a KOA, so I didn’t expect a lot when we came, but it’s close to Great Smokey Mountains NP. It has has water and electricity, and is tolerable for a night or two. As KOA’s go, this one is better than most I’ve been to. There are still some trees, and some shade, the sites are…

Wonderful place! Very beautiful.

Place is beautiful, full hookups, laundry, pool, clean shower rooms. Lots are close together, but all the surrounding campers are welcoming and nice! Wonderful little creek area to take the pups!

Nice Campground

Well maintained campground, with pretty views. Campsites are often uneven with alot of tree roots running throughout. It does require consideration before parking your trailer or RV.

Everything you want in a state park

What a lovely, relaxing park. There is an area for day-use people, with boat rentals, a small swimming area, and playgrounds (including mini golf!).

As for camping, you have two options: a large drive-in section (each with electric and water), some near the lake, some more forested, and some…
