Our primitive tent camping sites are located near the back of the property. They are an excellent option for individuals or groups who want to enjoy all the amenities of Camp LeConte but with a bit more of an authentic camping experience rolled in.

The Primitive Sites include areas for tents, but do not include individual electrical service or water. There are water faucets nearby and electric outlets at the Pavilion. Each site does have a fire ring with a grill and a small picnic table.Of course, all the other areas of Camp LeConte are available, such as the climate-controlled bathhouse, salt-water pool, and general store. The Primitive tent sites are just perfect for a small family gathering, a couple's’ getaway, or the solo traveler.

Our RV and Camper sites include 20/30/50 amp electric service, full hook-up water and sewer, cable TV and free wifi. Each site has a concrete patio and picnic table. Some sites have park grills and all sites have fire rings.

LECONTE CAMPGROUND

Pines RV Park and Cabins

We purchased our nine-acre property a little over three years ago. It was a run down, small, manufactured home park with a farmhouse on it. It has been an ongoing labor of love to transform it into a small, unique RV and tent camping park along beautiful Conleys Creek in Whittier, NC.



Conleys Creek Campground offers 4 tent spots (first come, first served), as well as 4 RV spots. All located along Conleys Creek with grills and fire pits. We also rent our 38' luxury RV. We are pet friendly and open year-round.



We have torn down and repurposed some of the manufactured homes on the property. We now offer a charming 2 bedroom / 1 bath unit, complete with a private yard containing a hot tub, fire pit and grill. Dogs are allowed in the yard, off their leashes.



We continue to expand our gardens with a wide variety of vegetables and herbs. We have planted many evergreen, fruit, and flowering trees, lovely bushes, and flowers for bold color throughout the year. Our property is pesticide free. We currently have 12 free range chickens, known as The Dixie Chicks! Individually named after female country singers. Guests enjoy feeding, petting, and collecting their eggs, which are delicious! Fish or cool off in our creek, which is regularly stocked with trout.



As a convenience to our guests, we sell fresh eggs, firewood, and ice. Enjoy the game room, complete with billiards, darts, games and DVD's. Or play one of our numerous outdoor yard games. There is a public golf course less than a mile down the road. We have a very clean, private guest bath house, excellent WI-FI, and a dump station.



Hike up our mountain range to locate our second creek. This was how we got the original name, Hidden Creek Retreat. However, we recently changed it to Conleys Creek Campground because this better reflects how we have grown our business and who we are!



Our guests love our convenient location to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We are nestled conveniently between Bryson City and Cherokee. Close to other charming towns, including Sylva and Dillsboro, and many outdoor attractions. Enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, tubing, kayaking and whitewater raft, all near our property. This is our home, business, and new lifestyle. Come and enjoy it with us!

Looking for that relaxing, peaceful, and scenic getaway? We have your spot for you! Beautiful 2400 sq. ft. log cabin with plenty of room for you to spread out and relax! And we have a green egg to grill or smoke on as well! Tucked away amongst the Rhododendron and Mountain Laurel, you will not find a more relaxing atmosphere. For fine dining, try Ruth Chris Steak House at Harrah's, the buffet at the casino, or a number of other good restaurants.

We can't adequately describe how peaceful it is to listen to creek and the birds while watching the sunset turn the sky purple over the Smoky Mountains at our "Backside" campground. With 6 acres of complete solidarity one mile from the nearest paved road, evenings around the firepit w/ the stars are simply magical! Local activities include cliff jumping at a secret swimming hole, hiking the Appalachian and Bartram trails, waterfall bathing, kayaking on the lake, & whitewater rafting the Nantahala River. There are 6 large tent campsites with 2 shared fire pits, a porta-potty, a fresh water creek, & picnic tables. The lack of Cell Reception means this site is for true adventurers who want to Disconnect in order to Re-Connect with the ones they bring.



Backside Campground at Nantahala

Deer Springs is a privately owned and gated RV park located in the Smoky Mountains, 13 miles West of Franklin, NC. We are a pet friendly RV park with a focus on providing large sites in a comfortable and unique setting. Our park has been designed for “self contained RV’s”, and as such, there is no separate bath house on site.

- Sites 1-8 have a private gazebo equipped with prep counter, sink with running water, refrigerator with ice maker, and ceiling fan with light

Deer Springs RV Park

**Winding Stair Campground sits at an elevation of 3,880 feet, next to the headwaters of the Nantahala River and is surrounded by national forest and undeveloped private land trusts. The stunning mountain views in a remote tucked-away setting makes our farm a perfect getaway!**

**Just a 15-minute scenic drive from Franklin in North Carolina, easily accessible off Hwy 64, our campground offers a chance to enjoy nature without being far away from the amenities of a small but well-equipped town.**

A few features about our property:

\- **Working farm**: Campers are welcome to meet our Icelandic sheep and take a self-guided tour of our farm, along designated pathways.

\- **Security**: The campground and farm are fenced in on three sides with the river being the fourth boundary. Personal code to the entrance gate will be given at check in.

\- **Bath House**: The restored bathhouse is split into boys’ and girls’ sides. Each side has 2 private showers, 4 flushing toilets, sinks, hot water, and gas heat.

\- **Community Pavilion**: The Pavilion is a large 40x30 ft. open sided pavilion overlooking the Nantahala River. It has an ample fireplace, running water sink, counter space, couches, and table with benches.

\- **Pack Room**: A cozy place to get local information, view maps, and grab some local groceries. (Grocery availability is listed in the extras section.) Also available to all campers are washing sinks with hot water.

\- **Communication**: Or rather, lack thereof! There's no cell service on the property so it's a great time to get away from it all. There is limited Wi-Fi available near the Pack Room and an emergency landline available.

\- **Charging**: Traveling in an electric vehicle? Recharge for free at our dedicated EV 50amp outlet when you stay at any of our sites. First come, first served.

Sky Ridge Yurts

 It is our mission to create a sanctuary where you can decompress from the pressures of city life and enjoy the beauty and serenity of our mountain valley property. Our campsite is nestled in a holler on a serene country road near some of the area's best hiking, biking and whitewater rafting in Western Carolina. Within a 10 minute drive you can be at the Nantahala Outdoor Center to zipline, kayak or whitewater raft the Nantahala River, hiking the AT, or mountain biking at Tsali, paddle boarding at the Finger Lakes on Fontana, grabbing a beer at Mountain Layers in Bryson City, or just chilling by the fire pit listening to the babbling brook. You can do as little or as much as you want. 

There are endless ways to spend your time at our mountain get away. We want to make sure you feel comfortable, safe, and have everything you need and nothing you don't. It is the simple pleasures like fresh coffee in the morning, soft sheets and warm blankets that make your stay here extra special.  As your host I am happy to share my favorite spots and answer your questions.  

The Space:

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs.

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling 
-Bedding and pillows

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). If you have any questions regarding modifications to your booking, please reach out to Tentrr Customer Support.

Other Things to Note:
Please place all tightly sealed trash/waste in garbage can before you leave. 
No smoking in tents. If you do smoke outside please smoke away from the tent and dispose of any butts.
Quiet time after 10pm. 
Leave the site as good or better than when you arrived. 
Please leave a note in the guest book and visit again!
