Cathedral Pines County Park

Accessible by private boat or ferry, Watch Hill is located directly across the Great South Bay from Patchogue, and the campground is a 1/4-mile walk from the ferry dock.

When it comes to Fire Island Camping, the family-friendly campground is within walking distance of visitor center, marina, general store, ocean beach (lifeguarded during summer months), showers and bathhouse, nature trails, and Otis Pike Fire Island High Dune Wilderness.

The Watch Hill campground has 26 tent sites and one group campsite. Most sites have a sandy base, so you'll need appropriately long tent stakes. There is one universally accessible site on a raised platform.

Liberty Harbor RV Park is OPEN 365 days a year. for your convenience and also accept check-ins 24/7 even if the office is closed. The NY Waterway Ferry leaves from Liberty Harbor and runs Monday to Friday to Pier 11 at the foot of Wall Street (does not operate on weekends or holidays). Other Ferry options that run 7 days a week are located within walking distance.



Or you can walk up Marin Blvd. 5 blocks to the Grove St. PATH subway station which can take you up to 33rd Street and 6th Avenue or to the World Trade Center Site.



The PATH train is another great option to get you where you are going. You can walk up Marin Blvd.



Either way… **Manhattan is just a 15-minute ride away**. Stay a day or two or a week or two…it’s up to you. We have maps and directions to anywhere you want to visit and our friendly staff is always willing to help you get there.

The campground is located at (around) Skyline Drive In Movie theater, a unique drive-in cinema experience, at 1 Oak Street in trendy yet relaxed Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Our location is situated on the East River and boasts killer views of the Manhattan Skyline any time of day!

The space is a massive open concrete surface lot on the East River.

The lot is a private property and is monitored by the 24/7 security in the adjacent building.

The subway is 4 blocks away (G Train, Greenpoint Ave stop) which will take you to the city in under 30 minutes.

Greenpoint Ferry stop is a few blocks away which will take you to midtown Manhattan in no time!

Please note, you might benefit from using a trucker app while getting here since in some areas of Brooklyn you can't drive an RV.

Comprising 44 acres of campground and dense woods, Battle Row Campground is an ideal place to relax with family and friends. Battle Row has 64 campsites ranging in length from 40 to 45 feet as follows: 52 sites have water and electricity (31 sites with 30amp/125-volt electric hookups and 21 with 50 amp/125 volt); and 12 tent sites (must be 21 years of age or older to reserve).

A comfort station is equipped with restrooms and private showers. The campground also offers swings, a recreational field, a rally field for club group camping. Leisure Pass holders receive resident rate.

Battle Row Campground

The 4,315-acre park makes Ward Pound Ridge Reservation the county’s largest park. With its varied terrain and landscapes and miles of wooded trails, the park provides a variety of activities in all seasons. There are areas for picnicking, lean-to camping, fishing and cross-country skiing.

The Carmans River flows through this scenic, pine-oak forested park. Southaven is a popular picnicking site, containing group areas capable of accommodating up to 1,000 people. Southaven's 1,356 acres also offer a bicycle hostel. Boating and freshwater fishing are permitted. Camping is also available, with sites for tents and trailers.

Artists have been painting this area for centuries, and it's a worthy landscape to memorialize, but nothing beats the real thing. So come camp in The Hudson Valley near the base of Stormville Mountain. You can pitch your tent in our private forest-- surrounded by nature and the sounds of farm animals (we have two roosters who call their unique song for most of the day, so be forewarned). You'll have a private area to have a bonfire and set up camp, and you'll have another separate and private patio area with a table and four chairs. Additionally, you'll have access to the treehouse overlooking our alpaca den. You'll also have private access to a two-person outhouse!

Attached to our home, you'll be able to use the outdoor shower with amazing water pressure -- and most importantly HOT water. We'll be sure to stack it with the essentials: soap, shampoo, conditioner, and toothpaste. There's also a slop sink next to the shower that you can use to refill water containers, wash any dishes, supplies, etc.

When we're home, we're happy to have you meet, pet, and feed the alpacas: Lala, Oona, Tilly, and Maggie. We also have a flock of chickens who provide fresh eggs which you're welcome to. Help yourself to anything growing in the garden during your visit: we have a mini orchard with peach and apple trees, and I also try to keep a small vegetable garden with some herbs and veg which I'm happy to share. We have a couple bistro sets set up around the property for you to sit and enjoy the sounds and surroundings. We even have a two-person swing and the treehouse for you to relax in while you read a book or enjoy a cup of tea. If you're looking for something more active, then feel free to walk the trails we've made and explore the forests around you.

If you're looking for things to do off the property, then there are plenty of attractions within driving distance. We're located near to an Appalachian Trail entrance, reservoirs for boating, swimming, and floating, river towns worth exploring (like Beacon and Cold Spring), and there are plenty of gorgeous state parks to visit, hike, and explore. Upon arrival, you'll also have an opportunity to rent our kayaks and/or canoe if they're available (inquire upon arrival).

Hunter Brook Mountain campsite offers a perfect opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the beauty of nature. With its peaceful and wooded surroundings, alongside a scenic mountain creek, it provides a serene environment for camping and relaxation.

One of the great things about this campsite is its accessibility. Located only one mile off the Taconic State Parkway and 45 miles north of Manhattan, it's easy to reach while still feeling remote. Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs.

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

HIGHER GROUND sits near the southern tip of Clarence Fahnestock State Park. It's the ideal place to stay if you want to explore Fahnestock, check out neighboring Cold Spring/Peekskill/Beacon, or to just hang out at the campsite and read / relax by the campfire.

A short up hill hike (only about 400 feet / 70ft elevation) along 'Hector's Way', leads you to your glampsite getaway. Along the way you'll pass our fresh water and firewood station... from there it's just another 50 yards to the tent !

HIGHER GROUND is only 1.7 miles from a SECRET trailhead to Candlewood Hill, one of the park's most exquisite views (shhhh...we'll tell you where when you book). Just 2.5 miles away is a parking lot and the hub for several other trails, including Catfish Loop and the famed Appalachian Trail.  Canopus Lake is 7 miles away

15 minutes away, poised on the Hudson River is the historic colonial town of Cold Spring, with plenty of shopping, lovely restaurants and plenty of natural attractions! 30 minutes away is the more bustling vibe of Beacon, NY.

Tentrr Signature Site - 'Higher Ground' near Fahnestock State Park

Heckscher State Park was once the 19th century estates of George C. Taylor and J. Neal Plum. William Nicoll, founder of the Town of Islip, originally built his estate on this property. The park was bought by the State of New York using a donation by the affluent August Heckscher with strong opposition from wealthy local residents. It was one of Robert Moses' most difficult fights to obtain land for public recreation on Long Island. Only with assistance and support from then Governor Alfred E. Smith was Moses able to close the deal on this beautiful property fronting the Great South Bay.
