Good power and water, quiet, well maintained and under the watchful eye of the Manager. Safe.
Great find driving through NM. $10 self pay state park and plenty of spots for drive up on a Friday. Beautiful views from nearly every campsite, sites spread apart with tables and awnings over each table. A clean lake, clean pristine bathrooms and millions of stars that will take your breath away.…
Bummed when we pulled up and were told we couldn’t tent camp. Found a better place up the road near the lake.
5 stars for clean sites, water and electric available. Classic NM terrain and vista. Camp host on site helpful and active keeping the place tidy. Easy pull in and back in sites with covered clean concrete tables. Outside loop more private than inside, but all look good. Would definitely stay…
Still early season so pretty quiet. Two loops were open but plenty of spaces open. Easy reservation kiosk for CC only.
Beautiful sites. The campground is up on the high part of Bandelier. Nice hike from up at the campground out to view down into the valley plus lots of other hiking from up there.
Easy to find, clean bathroom with showers. Fairly level spot. Slept well.
The park was just fine, nothing fancy and by no means a destination. If you are passing through though it works just fine.

We just spent 1 night here as we traveled from Colorado to Tennessee. It was great for a stop over, but there isn't much to do around there if you are staying for a long time. The manager was a dry, but he was accommodating and nice enough. We had a W&E only site and they have a dump…
It has a few loops so there is plenty space. Is near Santa Rosa viewpoint of the lake and near trails. You have to have a reservation (se pics). At the moment because of wildfires fire is not allowed.

The photos that show up above for this campground are actually of Santa Rosa LAKE which is about 20 minutes north on 91. The campground/RV park at this address is definitely more of an RV park. It is very close to I-40, there are streetlight-style lights throughout, and not much in the way of…
Nice size lake good camping great for fishing and swimming and good place to get away for couple of days
