Some strange noise in the middle of the night

Nice sites and location especially for the price, however when the noise started in the middle of the night (like a series of rockets) the noise went on for several minutes. We still don’t know what it was but it answered our question about why the site was so reasonably priced.

Good for a short stop right off I-80

Lots of traffic noise, it's a wildlife area where camping is allowed but there are no services.

Great Over night trip for locals

Super clean bathrooms (no sinks but do have hand sanitizer) easy lake/reservoir access. Nice fire pits, well kept sites, swings for kids, pet friendly !

Comfortable Spot

Nice little spot to stay off the lake. Really good spot to fish, lots of them just swimming around close to the top. Only two complaints we have are the noise from the highway, and the gravel road was very bumpy (we went 20mph or less the whole way).

Quiet spot close to I-80

We stumbled upon this place by chance and decided to stay overnight. It’s right off the highway, but there’s a large fishing pond between the camping spots and the highway with lots of mature trees, so that helps to dampen the road noise. This is a hunting/fishing area that happens to allow dry…

  • I-80 is on the other side of the pond.
  • Dirt road through the camp spots
  • This pull through was just big enough for our 22ft TT

Nice quiet spot in the middle of Nebraska.

Bathrooms nice and clean. Nice pool. Campsites are large and very clean. The campground is outside of town so it’s very peaceful, especially at night

Pleasant park

Overnight stay on the way home. There's a nice pool, walking trail, and other activities. Electric and water. The noise from the trains is unbearable. Also wish there were fire pits and picnic tables.
