Whether you're just a hundred miles from home or traveling across the country, you won't find a more comfortable or convenient Vineyard stay than Landry Vineyards in West Monroe to call home for a night or two. Located within walking distance of vines and Landry Vineyards tasting room, this hidden gem is a haven of relaxation you're not likely to forget anytime soon. The RV sites sit on a 30-acre site with two cottages that overlook the vineyards.

PLEASE view the photos in the photo section to familiarize yourself with the lay out. Sites 1-4 are in a different area than 5-8.

DYRT BOOKING: If you are trying to book and the Dyrt will not let you, it is because THEY require a 24 hour advanced booking notice. If you are having issues booking, please feel free to call us during business hours 11-5:30, Monday - Saturday and we can block a site for you if is available. 318-557-9050 You DO NOT have to join the Dyrt to book a site.

There is a walking trail in the woods or venture into the vineyards to view the grapevines and grapes. At certain times of the year, you can see some wildlife (deer, rabbits) and pick blackberries.

Sites #1-4 are NOT pull through. These sites have water, electric and sewer. These sites were designed for Motor Homes but are always being rented by SMALL 5th wheels and SMALL campers. If you have a 5th wheel or camper you will have to back in and run your electric and water hose under your camper (backing in and running the water hose and electric under the camper has not been an issue for most campers). If you do pull in, you will not be able to unhook your camper and move your vehicle, you will have to back up when leaving.

Sites #5-8 ARE PULL THROUGH with electric and water. NO sewer. Ideal for LARGE: 5th wheels, motor homes and campers.

Please keep your pet away from other pets and guest that are visiting the tasting room and under the pavilion. If your pet poops in the field, please CLEAN IT UP.

Located on a peninsula on Caney Lake, Jimmie Davis State Park offers two boat launches and a fishing pier that cater to the outdoors enthusiast looking for a prime freshwater fishing spot. Waterskiing is another way to enjoy the clear waters of the lake, which was created by damming Caney Creek in 1986. Don't forget to look back at the lakeshore to appreciate the beautiful mixed pine and hardwood forest surrounding the lake and the birds and animals that make the forest their home. To ensure that there's never a dull moment, the park also has a playground for the kids after a day on the lake. Cyclists will enjoy the park as a starting point for biking treks through the hills of North Louisiana, and nature lovers are invited to discover the beauty of the wooded land and lakefront. Bring your binoculars to get a closer look at the wide variety of birds that live in or pass through the area. After a day of fishing and exploring the park, stay the night in a cabin...or bring the extended family and sleepover in a lodge. For large groups, a group camp – including four dormitories and a dining hall – is available, with its own playground and fishing pier. RV campers have several scenic sites to choose from, for a closer visit with nature. Opened in the fall of 1996, Jimmie Davis State Park was originally named Caney Creek Lake State Park. The 2003 Louisiana State Legislature approved renaming the park in honor of two-term Governor Jimmie H. Davis, who served from 1944 to 1948 and again from 1960 to 1964.

Cheniere Lake (pronounced "Shenny“") is the largest lake in Ouachita Parish, which covers approximately 3,600 surface acres at pool stage, and was impounded in 1946. Cheniere Lake is operated by the Ouachita Parish Police Jury. The lake is located about 3 miles SW of West Monroe, Louisiana (Well Road Exit, then South). Cheniere is studded with tall Spanish moss laden Cypress trees and towering Tupelo Gum trees through which boat/canoe trails have been cut. Its many varieties of Louisiana wildlife include fish, birds, beaver, otter, nutria, turtles and alligators. Several spring fed streams flow into the lake and it is relatively free of unnatural pollutants. Cheniere Lake is known for its natural scenic beauty.

RV Park - There are 8 RV sites overlooking the lake with electricity, water and dump station. Handicap accessible. Fee is $34.08/night (check, or money order). Bathhouse is air-conditioned and handicap accessible. Washer and dryer also available.

Lincoln Parish Park is located on the shores of Lake D'Arbonne with picturesque views of the lake and surrounding forests. Famous for its mountain bike trails, the park also has numerous hiking trails and an abundance of fishing opportunities from piers or a boat.
The park is a hub for a variety of recreational opportunities, including boating, kayaking and swimming in the lake. There is also a playground and a boundless park allowing more space for play. The Gum Springs Campground is located in an area of hilly terrain and natural springs. Gum Springs Recreation Complex exhibits recreation design and construction from the Civilian Conservation Corps era of the 1930's. Gum Springs campground offers basic recreation opportunities of picnicking and camping and is close to Gum Springs Horse Camp and Trail. Cloud Crossing Campground is a beautiful bottomland area timbered with large hardwoods and pines that is directly adjacent to Saline Bayou National Wild and Scenic River. The terrain is flat with brushy areas that provide seclusion for some camping sites. Cloud Crossing is an ideal put-in/take-out point for boating or canoeing on Saline Bayou. Visitors to the campground will find picnicking units, a pavilion with barbecue pit, shaded campsites with grill/fire rings, lantern hooks, and tables, trash containers, and restrooms. A launch ramp suitable for small trailered boats and other small watercraft is available.
