Located in the Middle of Southern Illinois just Off I-24 it is a great place to stay while you explore all the the Shawnee Forest. From Giant City to Garden of the Gods. The Tunnel Hill bike trail is a half mile away and Cache River is just down the road. We have 60 Full Hook up sites. Large pull through sites up to 120 feet long. We have Shower Houses and Laundry Facilities. Our Campground is Open Year Round.



Shawnee Forest Campground 

On the picturesque Upper Peoria Lake on the Illinois River, MillPoint RV Park offers 80 shaded full hookup sites on well-maintained gravel roads. Many of our sites are spacious pull-thrus designed for the biggest of big rigs. We also offer a cluster of cabin rentals, a designated tenting area, and several primitive camping areas for those who want to get as close as possible to nature. Nature literally surrounds us, including the Spring Bay Fen Nature Reserve that directly adjoins the campground. There are acres of beauty for hiking, fishing, and boating – including access to the river and beach at Funks Run, along with a private spring-fed lake that is just waiting for you to cast your line to hook a potential trophy catch!

 Daily, weekly and monthly rates are available from March through November. The park is conveniently accessible to the nightlife, dining and casinos of Peoria and the surrounding area.



Millpoint Park

Boulder Recreation Area is situated on the eastern shore of Carlyle Lake, a prime getaway for city-dwellers and families. Located 50 miles east of St. Louis, the area offers the peaceful retreat of a small town combined with the grandeur of Illinois' largest manmade lake. Recreation The campground provides fun both on the water and on shore. Boat ramps and courtesy docks are provided, and the vast lake allows for plenty of water sports. Fishing is a popular pastime, and white bass, bluegill, crappie, channel catfish, largemouth bass, freshwater drum, carp, flathead catfish and walleye can be found in abundance. There is an on-site playground and plenty of open space for children to play in, as well as an amphitheater for educational programs. A multi-use biking and walking trail is located a short drive away at the dam. Facilities The campground sits along the lakeshore and offers ample shade. There are 83 campsites, all of which have a view of the lake with some sites perched directly on the shoreline. Each campsite offers a picnic area, and the campground has modern amenities like flush toilets, showers and drinking water, as well as fuel and boat storage. Natural Features Created in 1967, the 26,000-acre lake is recognized as one of the nation's top ten inland sailing lakes and hosts several annual races and regattas. Carlyle Lake is home to an array of wildlife that can be seen throughout the year. Its waters and shores are a resting spot for migratory waterfowl and other birds. There are six established Watchable Wildlife Sites with viewing towers open to the public around the lake. Boulder Rec. Area - COE Campground

Buena Vista Farms is a newly constructed camp ground on State Highway 67 in the middle of Illinois. We are short trips to Springfield, IL, Abraham Lincoln sites, Hannibal, Mo, Mark Twain sites and Saint Louis, Mo. Our RV sites are all full hook up, and some pull through spaces are 90 feet long, for Big Rigs. We offer back in sites on the water, and pull through sites. We have lots of green space, 60 feet between pedestals, 2 fishing lakes, canoes, kayaks and paddle boat, playground, hiking trails and no light pollution so you can star gaze around your camp fire. Sites all have fire pits and picnic tables. Tiny home cabins are fully furnished and available monthly or daily, in 3 styles, to sleep 3, 4 or 6 people.  We offer 2 furnished apartments for traveling professionals on our park like setting.  Seasonal, monthly or overnight campers are all welcomed!

North Sandusky Campground offers more than 60 reservable campsites. All campsites have electric hookups, 16 campsites are full-hookup, and the campground offers a dump station, hot showers, flush toilets, and drinking water in order to provide a comfortable camping experience for guests. A boat dock, boat ramp, playground, and disc golf course are also conveniently located next to the campground.

Lake Shelbyville offers a multitude of fishing opportunities for catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, muskie, walleye, white bass and bluegill. Lithia Springs provides a boat ramp, and for those without a boat, several ponds with farmed fish are available around the lake.   
  
Hunting areas within a short drive offer numerous game species, including quail, rabbit, pheasant, deer, dove, turkey, waterfowl and woodcock.

Lithia Springs has more than 100 campsites, all of which have electric hookups. Some campsites are on the lake shore within a short walk of the water. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, a playground, swimming beach, dump station and boat ramp. A full-service marina is located adjacent to the recreation area.

The campground lies in an oak and hickory forest. Foliage turns a variety of red, orange, purple and yellow each fall, while prairie flowers dot the landscape in spring and summer.   
  
Numerous species of songbirds, shorebirds, waterfowl and raptors inhabit the lake area, as do mammals such as cottontail rabbit, white-tail deer, gray and fox squirrel, muskrat and mink.

A boat dock, boat ramp, and playground are also conveniently located within the campground.

Lone Point is a secluded campground that sits on the western shore of Lake Shelbyville in the heart of central Illinois.   
  
This facility has a variety of campsites that can accommodate large and small groups, as well as individuals. The lake and surrounding land offer outdoor activities for people of all ages, including fishing, swimming, picnicking and simply relaxing.

## Recreation

Lake Shelbyville offers a multitude of fishing opportunities for catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, muskie, walleye, white bass and bluegill. Visitors have access to a multi-lane boat ramp and courtesy dock at the adjacent Lone Point Day Use Area.   
  
For those without a boat, several ponds with farmed fish are available around the lake.   
  
Hunting areas located within a short drive offer numerous game species, including quail, rabbit, pheasant, deer, dove, turkey, waterfowl and woodcock.   
  
Hikers can explore the lake shore using a number of trails, including the 11-mile Chief Illini backpacking trail, which begins nearby and runs along the edge of the lake.

## Facilities

Lone point offers a separate area of camping for large groups of up to 80 people. The group camp area consists of 10 paved electric sites which can accommodate a total of 10 RVs and 30 tents, or 40 tents alone. The group area also provides a picnic shelter and water hydrant.   
  
The facility provides amenities like flush toilets, showers, a playground, dump station and boat ramp.
