Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Group Camping: We welcome campers with larger parties, but the standard Tentrr setup only includes the canvas tent plus the additional pop-up dome tent. You may need and are encouraged to bring additional camping gear of your own if you plan on camping with a large party. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. You may have as many campers in your party up to the maximum limit that is set for the listing, but please note that the only bed provided as a standard amenity is the one set up inside the canvas tent. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling 
-Bedding and pillows
-Lanterns and lighting 
-Firewood for the campfire

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! Pass through rolling pastures to reach your private hideaway.  Find old growth wood  trails,  stonewalls, and a nearby stream to dip your feet or chill your drink. 
 The perimeter of your camp-site will be mowed. A  privacy tent has been provided to screen your  outdoor privy.  A screened 10 x 12 tent is available  for your dining area. Evenings around the campfire are magical...fireflies, star filled quiet skies. The site is situated on an active farm with chickens, sheep, and horse. We welcome families to visit!
Let us know all about you, would you like yummy smores waiting for you, do you want to stay up all night with the campfire going with unlimited wood?  Are you bringing little ones who would like to feed the animals? Have a scavenger hunt?  We have croquet, horse shoes, and upon request can put up a volleyball net :)  Explore the woods, and find an old antique truck abandoned long ago, the trees that provide shelter to the wild deer that drink from the pond and eat from the tall grass from the edges of the woods. From snuggling, to exploring. Over the years, we have had wonderful guests who created a fairy house, have named chickens, and at times have left the hay wagon down below at the campsite to allow young and old to strum away on a guitar. **True peace can be found here.**

We had such a wonderful stay here and found it hard to leave to go back to the city after waking up to all the sights and sounds of the farm. Richard was a great host who was sure to check in and see if there was anything we needed. He showed us the walking paths along his property were, where we saw a bountiful of beautiful ferns and wildflowers. Our children enjoyed the large field where they tossed a ball with dad and flew their kite. Just beware of the mischievous goats who will sample your toiletries if you forget to close the bathroom door, as we found out! Thank you again for sharing your little slice of heaven with us! We look forward to staying with you again in the near future."

**A nice location.**

I really enjoyed my stay. Ric is very friendly and clearly loves to share his bucolic setting. It may not be for everyone, though. There are a lot of goats, chickens, dogs, roosters, ducks, etc. and when I arrived, they were making quite a racket. I was concerned about the noise level, but they quieted down by evening and it wasn't a problem. The Hawley trail system is just down the road and is a great place to hike. I stayed in my van, but you can choose to stay in a small, rustic old mining cabin or in a tent camp."

Winhall Brook Camping Area is nestled in the Green Mountains of Vermont along Winhall Brook and the West River, seven miles from Ball Mountain Lake. The campground has strong appeal to the outdoorsman at heart, offering hiking, biking and fishing opportunities in a beautiful natural setting. Recreation The campground offers several waterways in which to fish and play. The West River and Winhall Brook are home to brook, rainbow and brown trout. Hiking and biking are popular summer activities with cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. The West River Trail stretches 16 miles along parts of the long-since-abandoned West River Railroad, providing a safe and scenic route for hiking, biking and cross country skiing in the winter months. The trail connects the villages of South Londonderry, Jamaica and Townshend. Ball Mountain Lake is nearby with fishing, boating, hiking and scenic overlooks. You can access the lake at our car-top boat launch which also provides shore fishing access. Hiking trails offer great views of Angel Falls to the north and Hamilton Falls to the south along the West River Trail. Water is released from the dam to create whitewater opportunities for rafting and kayaking the first weekend in May and the last weekend in September. Facilities Winhall Brook offers a total of 111 campsites; 14 are lean-to shelters and 23 have electric and water hookups. Flush toilets, showers, drinking water and dump stations are provided. Campers enjoy the park's three playgrounds, four horseshoe pits, one basketball court and one volleyball court. Natural Features Winhall Brook consists of broad grassy meadows surrounded by heavily wooded areas.
