Nice campground, clean, beautiful lake with bike path/walking trail around the entire lake. Not much to do in small town but fun for an overnight .
Got to the campground around 6pm on a Friday and no one was at the primitive campground which was nice. The picnic table and fire ring were clean and in good condition. By 10:30 the park was quiet and peaceful. Lake hasn't completely filled up yet so no fishing or boating. Would definitely come…

Excellent amenities well run Very clean. Surroundings very pretty
Electric sites, no reservations required I don't think. Nice bathrooms, 3 showers for the women's room with a family size shower. Nice playground, volleyball net, basketball court. Picnic tables and fire rings. No cell service down at the campground. You could call that a pro or a con! Really…
This is a city campground on the outskirts of town that does not feel that way. It sits right next to a park. White rock roads and pads. It has some full hook up sites as well as water and electric sites. Overall a nice place to say.
Great park. Nice sites, plenty of green space, clean.
A lovely and quiet campground. The huge drawback is the water quality of Saylorville lake. It is toxic— blue algae from farm runoff. Not safe for man or beast.
Great selection of campsites for a wide variety of needs. Wonderful views from most sites. Access to multiple walking trails. Beautiful, wooded setting. Clean bathrooms/showers.
Bottom line. My bad but the site said electric. In all the other parks I’ve been to “electric” includes water. Which this park does not. Many trees, very pretty. Cell reception is weak.
This is a great place to camp! The whole place is super clean, especially the bath house. All the spots are nice and lots of exploring to do!
As others have said, the sites are quite close together, in this case I didn't mind as I met up with friends on a weeknight, so our sites were close together and our cluster of sites had a buffer on either side. We were on the outer loop which put us closest to the lake and offered electrical…
Night 2 from NY to CO. Good place to stop and get off the road.

Tons of trees, very lush, clean bathhouses. Fire rings, picnic tables, level gravel sites.
Great playground. Small town. Bathrooms looked recently cleaned but not amazing. Equipped with soap. Shower was leaking and kinda gross but only $6 for tents and $15 Rvs.
Our camping experience was very nice. Pulling up to this park was surreal, considering the surrounding farmland that suddenly shows a lone forest. Some of the sites are pretty close, luckily we were next to a friendly couple with a cute dog. We were able to buy a good $5 bundle of firewood from the…
