Standard RV Parking Lot

If you’ve got one of those incredibly large mobile homes on wheels or are just a convicted felon looking for a place to sleep for the night, then this particular RV location just off of Highway 414 near Hiawassee may just be the perfect spot for you to layover (although you will need to book in advance to gain entry). With ample slanted, elongated parking lanes for your parking pleasure, all of the sites come equipped with the typical 30/50 amp electrical hook-ups, waste disposal and water connections. There’s the standard picnic table, garbage receptacles and even a community BBQ. The folks at the reception are incredibly suspicious and protective of their gated RV parking lot. Overall, the community is jam-packed and often has police officers on-site settling domestic problems, but apart from that (and the loud noise coming from nearby traffic), I do think that if you don’t have any other choices within a 50 mile radius, then this might be the right (and last) choice for you. While there’s not a ton of amenities to pick and choose from, this location does feature barely functioning BBQ’s, repurposed grass turf, a pile of used tires (and mosquitos!) and then there’s the free glimpses of passing-by traffic that come as a courtesy for all guests. Upon further inspection, I do wonder why there is a massive land dump right behind this RV park (as well as a sanitizing factory conspicuously located behind this). If I had more time or interest, I might ponder this further.

Happy Camping!
