Unfortunately Not Pet-Friendly

“Unfortunately, we do not allow any pets in our park and/or campground. I can recommend the following parks in the area that are pet friendly: Trimble Park, Magnolia Park and Wekiwa Springs state park.”

Great place!!

The campsites are very nice with a good amount of space. There’s no wifi available and with att we are getting one bar but still enough to do what we need. No on site waste for the rv so it have to be taken down the road alittle. The springs are awesome but very packed during the summer. I saw people waiting at 0245 in the morning to get into the park at 8

Water spigot on the wrong end of the site

Nice park gets slammed in the weekends with day use guests. Private gate for campers is a plus. Sites are spread out and wooded. Bathhouse is always super clean. Springs are beautiful.

Clean facilities, level sites, and a ton of tussock cloth caterpillars

We stayed a couple days at Kelly Park to take a little tube ride down Rock Springs. The bathrooms and showers looked very new and very clean. The sites were not very private but had plenty of bear proof trash cans nearby, level grade, and picnic tables were on a concrete pad. The only major downside was that it was tussock moth caterpillar season. These are the ones that cause allergic reactions, and they were everywhere. Like falling from the sky everywhere. 😂

Very Nice!

We had a tent site near the bathhouse. The bath house is very nice and clean. The sites are all pretty much shaded. There are some swings and a cleared area the kids ran around/played chase right in front of the bath house. A short walk leads to a very nice playground with typical park equipment. My kiddos loved that playground. My favorite part was the springs that also had a little "beach"where my youngest played in the sand after tubing. To reserve it you will need to go to the Orange County Park and Recreation website.

Clean sites, lots of rules

Nice, spacious site. Ok privacy. We were pretty close to a family that were the proud owners of six young boys on bikes, so it was a bit loud until bedtime. Trails and spring were closed for renovations. (We swam at Wekiva Springs beforehand, which was lovely.) Bathrooms were spotless and spacious! Our power hookup failed on us after 2 hours of LED tiki lights. Pretty frustrating. Plus, you aren’t allowed to hang anything on the trees (no hammocks). No one in the office was masked. Oy. And firewood was loose (pack it yourself) for $10 for 25 pieces. Fine site if it’s near where you’re headed.

Gorgeous springs

My partner and I had the pleasure of camping at this park last year. Great spot to have a weekend getaway. It does get crowded and if you plan to do a day trip keep in mind that you need to get there early! If you have no floating tube there is a rental store just down the road from the park. My only regret is going when a cold front came through. The water was FREEZING! Nonetheless, my partner and I enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely be going again.

Great little Camping site near Orlando FL

We camped here  in November of 2019 and it was great. Most sites have trees around them and had shade. Kelly Park is shared with daily visitors so it can get crowded. Their campground is separate from the public areas so is nice and private. The park has multiple trails and the most beautiful natural lazy river. Tubbing is allowed in the River. Please note that you need to bring your own tube or there is a rental place before the park.

Well-kept campground in Kelly Park with Rock Springs access

Great little spot in Kelly Park with access to Rock Springs

Unfortunately the springs were closed due to COVID, but Wekiwa Springs is down the road so we were able to check that out!

No pets allowed either which is another downside

Well-kept and maintained, friendly staff, and nice restrooms.

Not a lot of space between campsites - you won’t get that “primitive” camping feel, but the site is a decent size

Been there done that...

This is a very nice campground, with spacious sites. One draw back for me is no sewer hook-ups. There is access to the park springs area, which is the main draw for the public. This is a beautiful area so bring the camera.
