ScoutThis was a great experience rocheckery State Park as beautiful outlooks there's a lot of scenic sites goes from trees and Forest to rocks and scenic views if you like hiking and wilderness camping this is the place.
TravelerDexter Campgrounds was a delight to stay at. There was a private bathroom/shower room that made the experience feel luxurious. It is right next to a beautiful river and lake. Very quiet and campers are very respectful. I would absolutely recommend this spot. It was $36 for one night. They also have a place to do laundry. They have camp sites that accommodate electricity as well!
ScoutOverall awful campground. On top of our over priced ($123) two night stay, we had to pay an additional $30 for an emissions fee. When we got to our site it was in the middle of a field with campers close by with no privacy. Our sight was very unlevel as well as extremely muddy. The amenities were very dirty (lots of bugs plastered across the shower walls, muddy shower floors, hair everywhere). When we showed up there was a fallen tree taking up half of the road and for our entire stay it was never removed. The lady we dealt with at the front office was not friendly. She was rude to me and my wife. We will never stay here again and never recommend it to anybody! Not worth your money, try to find a different campground!
GuideMy hubby and I have been coming here for years! Awesome owners-they just retired so I hope the new owners keep the same traditions and don't make a lot of changes! You can get to your site early if no one is on it, stay later by letting them know.
A lot of Amish in the area with greenhouses) we got all of our summer flowers from them. A few bakeries-go early! Wood working stores, buggy shops and etc. Search Amish greenhouses on the web, you can print a map of all Amish in the area.
ScoutI only stopped in overnight but found it peaceful and relaxing. Water ands electric available. Clean, free showers and a lake to swim in.
RangerThe campground is super easy to get to as it is adjacent to I-90 which means you’ll also deal with highway noise. The noise becomes just background after a while and the full hookups mean running the RV air conditioner at night somewhat blocks the traffic sounds. Lots to do in the area with the Wisconsin Dells less than 30 minutes away and Tomah is less than 10 minutes the other direction. The campground itself is small but very well taken care of with a mix of back-in and pull-through sites along with cabins. Staff was very friendly and helpful giving us suggestions for places to visit while we were there. Bonus: A convenience store/fuel station including truck diesel lanes is just outside the entrance to the campground for easy fill ups before you hit the road.

GuideFirst time here and it’s a beautiful campground for RVs and tent camping. This a more modern campground with many amenities; bath houses, camp stores, swimming, fishing, and hiking. Beautiful bluffs surround Devils Lake that allow campers to hike up and see greats views of the lake.

We drycamped at the quartzite campground and enjoyed our stay. They also have several doggy swimming areas, but only on the south side could she be in the water without a leash.
