Pull through space was tight and not level. However, staff directed us to the space even in a thunderstorm.
Great spot on a little lake. Breeze blowing in in the morning makes it hard to get up. No electricity Public toilets available 2 - 3 bars of Verizon No stay limit posted, but game Warden says 14 days
No longer called Siding 36

We stopped at the Mitchell KOA twice in 2020. It's located very close to the highway (tho no noise). Decent sized pull thru sites with lots of big shade trees. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Did not use the pool. Small camp store. Staff was very friendly. Cheapest KOA we have stayed in.
We stopped for the night and had terrific pull through sites, right off the highway. Clean, GORGEOUS bathrooms, friendly hosts!
Really nice pull through sites with water, electric and sewer. $30 per nite. Some shady sites. Very little road noise. No Bathroom or shower access. Plenty of area to walk a dog with nice grass.
We stayed here in our way to southwestern SD. It’s your typical KOA experience. Nice staff and decent facilities. Not really close to much but only a short drive into Mitchell. There’s a small pool and a nice dog park. Many of the sites have large shade trees. Overall a pleasant experience.
Nice enough for tent camping. There’s an area with sprinklers though, avoid that. It’s a nice, quiet, safe area, and there’s a pool nearby if you’re there around the time it’s open. There’s a bathroom and that was enough for us
The town is so small, the gas pumps still remind me of a rotary phone. Not much to write home about for this one-nighter. (Notice there's no pics) Felt a bit awkward pitching a tent here, although there were others doing the same and even car camping, and there were signs allowing it. I wouldn't…
This park had a beautiful layout we arrived late Host showed us to our spot Far enough off freeway no highway noise! Was beautiful surprise to see a farm surrounding us in the morning
We did a one night stop and got a nice long pull through so no need to unhook the car and trailer. very dog friendly with a nice dog park area. surrounded by fields manager was very nice
We stayed at the Mitchell KOA one night as a stop over on our way to Custer, SD. The feature we liked best is that all RV, 5th Wheel/Camper sites are set up as pull through. We called while on the road to see if they had any open spots, and they got us in for the night:) The campground hosts were…
