Nice , quiet place

We have stayed here twice, once 2 years ago for 2 mo. and then again for the month of August this year. Level sites, good water, 30 & 50 amp service & city sewer. TV is over the air, 6 ch, if the weather permits so bring a few DVD's.  A nice quiet place. There are no facility's, like shower house or bathroom's.

You are 3 blocks from downtown, so within walking distance of every thing in town. The park does not have wi-fi, however, the public library  does have free wi-fi.

A word of warning, unless you have Verizon  or Nemont phone service your phone will not work!   The owner of the park lives off site, is only a phone call away & is a very nice guy !

Price is right

Nice place to stop for the night, no designated sites but I set up a pop up in the parking lot and it worked great. Two blocks off of Hwy 2, restrooms available but not showers. It may be a little close to active  railroad tracks for a light sleeper.

Cute and cozy

Cute place to go camp. I don’t like all the houses out here. It makes you feel like you are constantly being watched. Play area for the kids and decent fishing for pike, walleye and sunfish. We haven’t camped here yet, but I would love too. We go out fishing for day trips

Popular area

Blacktail Dam is a popular destination for most area people. It is a small dam so it does tend to get quite busy, with minimal camping spots. Most of the land around the lake is privately owned lots.

Small campground overlooking lake

Campground is set on top of hill overlooking Brush Lake which is a gem in itself. Campsites are spacious, but no trees for privacy or shade. There are bathroom facilities. Trails that lead down to the lake. Lake has restroom facilities, picnic tables, boat ramp, and beach area. The lake was a hidden gem among locals, so not a ton of people camping. One side of the lake is a state park and the other is privately owned.

Peaceful, cool (shady)

Nice little campground. Has electric and water. Just down from rest area in Plentywood MT. One of the nicest and at a reasonable price. $10. Stumbled onto it by accident. Nice shady in amongst some Cottonwood trees. Came in real handy in the middle of nowhere. Not sure what it would be like if there was something going on at the Fairground.

Can get busy!

It's a smaller lake with housing all around it. Around the 4th of July can get super busy. They keep the facilities clean!
