Great owners that care about the camping experience and provide activities on the weekend for the kids. Pretty spacious sites
A safe place to stop for the night. Electricity with a dump station and water available. Nice to have a designated spot to pull off while traveling.
Great for travel, feels safe. Electric hookups, dump and water on site. Pull-through.
All of the sites on the water side are huge! Plenty of room to set up however you want. A good mix of RVs and tents. However, I haven’t heard any generators from the RVs. Very quiet place except for a few laughs heard from other campsites. Site 6 has a beautiful view of the water and perfect…
This is a great little campground super friendly staff clean restrooms a playground for the kids. It’s clean and quiet I’m definitely staying again
It was alright. Our neighbors across from us had 30 kids using one fire pit. (They had 6 sites together) and were up past midnight running around. Our fire ring was so close to the road. The bathrooms are pretty far away as there is only one building. The lake and trails were great.
Thought this would be a good campground for a family and it wasn’t. Lots of rules limiting the kids. Kids stuff is only open during certain times. Staff are unpleasant.

This campground is a little out of the way, but well worth it. Very clean, spacious, well kept up sites. Highly recommend this place!
We were surprised to pull into this KOA after a long day of driving to find it very rundown. Pool is not functional. Not necessarily a big deal, but don’t advertise you have pool. Play area was falling down. Bathroom facilities were clean. Looks like they’re trying to make improvements. If you have…
There are wooded sites on the upper area with shade and sunny sites on the lower area. Something for everyone. Just a couple of sites face the water. The beach is a modest bicycle ride on a nice and wide path. Or you can jump in a vehicle and make the drive to the separate beach entrance. Like…
no tent camping
Camped here in Sept. A bit chilly at night but absolutely gorgeous area!!
We stayed two nights at 16N electric site with our 16ft camper. Lots of room, and sits on higher ground. Mosquitoes were crazy no matter the bug protectants used but it had been a very wet year and the park was scheduled to spray soon. Lake life is where it’s at, plenty to do on/in the water! Bike…
Stayed here to test out new gear before a trip to Isle Royale. Severe weather made for a great experience alone as the neighbors packed up once the tornado sirens went off.
Slightly buggy with lots of tree cover. Bring a filter and/or chemical filtration in case you need water as the pump at the…
