Best Dog-Friendly Camping near Port Ludlow, WA

This is a nice setting for an RV park. It's part of the Port Ludlow development, which includes a golf course, a marina, and shops. 

It's set in the woods, so there's lots of privacy. There's a host right at the gate, so it's pretty safe and secure.

The best thing is that if you have kayaks or a boat you can launch and explore some beautiful sections of Puget Sound. You can get to Marrowstone Island, which is one of the best-kept secrets of the Olympic Peninsula. And you can get to Port Townsend, which is very cool.

The campground itself is very clean, you can tell the owners take pride it in. The showers are warm, not as hot as I’d like but very very nice! The dog park is gravel, so that was a bummer. The hot tub, indoor pool, and and gym are closed for the season. Not sure how those are seasonal. Overall it’s clean and quiet.

There aren’t many rv parks that are close (35ish mins) to Seattle but this is the best option. Office staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean, laundry is cheap ($1 wash), maintenance staff is constantly tending to the grounds, full hook ups, and cute (short) hiking paths surrounding the park. The lake is more of a murky pond and the geese are happy residents here so expect a lot of goose poop at any spot near the water. There’s also no dog park.

Affordable stay  $25 @7/2020.    Closing at end of month for renovations.   

Well kept large quiet park.  Great dg waking areas; including a dog park.  Some sites with trees for shade.   Hookups work.   Free city dump station within a mile; easy to access.  2 clean bathrooms; no shower.  Manager on site.   Gate locked by 10pm.   Access through older well kept neighborhoods.   Grocery store on main road.  Lorenzo-s was closed due to COVID; we ate their 10 years ago; mighty good rellanoes.   Gave it 4 as one toilet with very slow flush!   Perhaps renovations will solve that problem.  Perhaps showers will be included; they could charge more.

Great spot for an Overnighter on the road through quaint Sedro-Woolley WA, this spot contains amenities for all, along with RV parking and a handful of tent lots. If you care to go swimming it has easy access directly to the lake with a primitive boat launch meant for smaller, canoe-like, vessels. Clean Restrooms, no showers, but they have a stage and performances during the summer months and two Parks, meant for all ages! Surrounding areas to explore include a Dog Park just across the way, and a spooky hike among abandoned buildings which were once part of Northern State Mental facility. Be sure to take in the Train display at the Town’s enterance and have a great trip!

Wonderful RV park for long term Escapee-ers or members just passing through. We stopped here for a night, arriving on the weekend with no prior reservations or contact with them. They make it easy for you to self register when they're closed on weekends, just go up to the office and take one of their welcome packets. 

We stayed in a dry camp site for only $7.50, and paid $5 for the dump (dump is only for members as well). FHU sites are around $33 depending on in-season/off-season, but I don't know how we would have figured out which sites were available. There are so many activities and amenities here for the long termers (I believe it's a 55+ park), I couldn't even list them all. 

Showers and laundry were clean and efficient. There's a dog park and a dog walking path (there are signs everywhere about not letting your dog pee or poo on their nice plants). Cell service was good and they have good wifi as well. This would definitely be a spot we'd stop at again when we're in the area next.

This camp ground is not ideal if you have dogs. There is not much grass, in fact you have to go outside the park and across the street to hear compliant pet owner. We also found the electric box to be a little wonky. They office staff did have an adapter which help. It was very quiet and clean just not the most attractive campground.

We did a daily rental and it was great! Close to the lighthouse park. It is pet friendly and has great picnic spots.

Lots of kids. Really nice shower and laundry area. Pick a spot closest to the end where there are lots of trees. Open pet friendly area.

Stayed here for a long weekend. Great location. Nice walking trails and beach access. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Pet friendly cabins is an extra bonus!

Nice place to have a free spot for the night. Not sure the max number of nights. I forgot to ask. No hook ups and no water available. Clean area and pet exercise area. Security drives by regular.

Seal Rock campground is on the Hood canal side of the Olympic peninsula in Washington state. It's actually the second time we camped there, this time on July 3rd and 4th. We expected it to be overcrowded and it was not the case, though a bit more on the 4th. Very nice campground with direct access to a small beach and a gorgeous view. Shellfish can be harvested on the beach. Pets are not allowed on the beach but there are plenty of trails where they can be taken. There is a charming little boardwalk interpretive trail along the water. All campsites are in wooded areas, including those on the lower loop along the water. There are flush toilets and water and a camp host. Fee is 18 dollars for a tent site.

I’m a tent camper- the sites are not level, my fire ring was way too small. Branches need to be cut back. And sites are crammed in there, so, hopefully you’ll have a nice neighbor. Showers need quarters. Only one main bathhouse, they have porta-potties in some areas. The hosts are very nice and there’s free coffee. They had live music, which was nice. Seemed to be a good family/kid friendly place. They accept pets. I would’ve given a higher score had the showers been free and the sites a bit better.

Nice location conveniently located near the Marina, close to everything.

We stayed in a Premium site, enjoyed the view of the Fields behind us. Extremely quiet, open, not dusty. Downside, people don’t pick up after their Pets. We have two Shelties & think of others so we’re not the Culprits…

Otherwise, pleasant overall. Laundry accepts cards only which is extremely convenient since coins are hard to come by.

5G t-Mobile is 5-stars at our Site, it’s not listed as an option yet.

I lived there for 17 months. What I'm speaking to here was was 1st person witnessed by myself, and anyone else that isn't afraid of red hat. Not hear say. On 10- 01,2020 Mr. Rio gonwhatevershesays knocked on my door with, zero notice, so I opened my door. He asked me, did you write a negative review on our park? I Said I left a scaving one. He told me that I had to leave and that I had to leave now.seahawk Sunday , I've already had a beer. Game day?; Nowhere to go and nothing to do. So I thought. He began to tell me what I was gonna do. Please keep in mind that not one warning has my signature on it, there is zero paperwork signed hy a f judge? Hey wait, can you imagine? A judge hearing a law suit involving being evicted for writing a horrible review? And during the no evictions covig19 stuff, came this pretty shocking eviction?; Evicted for exercising my first amendment rights, freedom of speech, then walking all over the governors civig 19 no eviction moratorium, without any notice? Physically hauled me out of the Park, me still in the travel trailer, now traveling down 101 south as a unwilling, and against my will and under duress, participant in why Humans and pets arnt allowed in TRAVELING TRAVEL TRAILERS. In approx ten miles I had taken several falls, i had1 4 holes in the top of my head and re broke my c 1 veryabrae, very top of my neck. My neck from a Lucky enough to live through fracture in 7- 28- 2020 The fracture left me with a pretty severely screwed up neck. Now? I won't ever be the same.

Love this place!  Go frequently. However, we are responsible dog owners, and today we met an annoying host. Hovering and following us around pointing out poison oak "dont let your dog near the bushes" (ok thanks for the concern). Far end of park entering beach "dogs not allowed on beach" (oh I honestly did not see that sign- day visitor only). Asked if boardwalk is ok "well I guess so "  Inconsistent signage and rules. Are dogs welcome or not? Understandable dont want poop on the beach and the risk of those who wont pick up poop. But, lots of signs saying "dogs on leash." Not enjoyable today, noisy kids and noisy guest slamming dumpster lids and talking loudly. But. the quiet dog on the leash with poop bags at far end of park, was a problem.
