Month long stay, $730, water, 50 amp. End of October/beginning of November the park is booked out as well as during warmer months. Half of the facilities washers and dryers didn't work. Staff is great about communicating lawn days and other news for long term guests. Trash valet and 2 free parking spots. 2 dogs parks, one for large and another for smaller dogs.
We stayed at spot 128 in the Burr Oak. It was very easy to back into, the site is super wide and full asphalt. Site was very level. Bathrooms were somewhat close, about 4 or 5 sites down with a shortcut through the woods. Not a lot of street lights throughout the campground made things nice and quiet at night. The site had good Verizon cell service, around 25-50 mbps. The Tmobile service was around the same. This place is very remote and the park itself is huge, we only stayed one night but it has a ton to offer! Overall the campground was clean, very quiet, with a ton of activities.
Drove in on a Monday and love it already. They were combing the beach section I came in on and I picked the first spot that was at least 100 yds away from the only two others that were there. So far so great.
Superb article! I’ve explored your other website, where you dive into life’s nuances, including Animekhor. I genuinely appreciate the valuable content you consistently provide. animekhor.me

The KOA is beautiful. It has the feel of a southerneque plantation meets the beach. The lazy river is a fun additional. Everything is clean. Mosquitoes are our of hand but would stay here again !
This place did not disappoint. Amazing all around! A lot of activities for the little ones and the pool was really nice and heated! There was even a couple residents that got out some kites and bubbles for the kids! The only negative is that this was our very first stay at an RV resort, so the bar is set extremely HIGH! We have now stayed a few others and this is still at the top of the list. It’s close to everything but yet far enough away. Will definitely be back!
A no frills park. It has what you need, full hookups, laundry onsite and the beach close by!
Pros: office lady very nice, site 1 has 1 tree for shade, ferry w/ our travel trailer from Galveston Island was easier than expected, large dog park, close to Camp Margaritaville.
Cons: gravel sites, bathroom super gross with no TP, dirt rv road kicks up lots of dust, right on noisy highway.
Right on the beach, quiet place
Stayed on the beachside & loved it. Concrete pads, clean shower house, picnic table under gazebo, leashed dog allowed on beach, close to boardwalk for beach access.

Wide roads to maneuver and large spaces made it easy to get in and get setup, no cars clogging the lanes. Private rooms in the bathhouse let you feel comfortable and not like a locker room.
Everyone was so friendly and nice and the park feels like you are not in the city despite so close to everything. At night the string lights overhead give a warm and comforting feeling to walk around and enjoy the cool evening air.
No trees or picnic tables at the sites, but, we had our own table and chairs to use.
Highly recommend to all!
We came here and I loved it! Beach wasn’t crowded, playground, showers, toilets, beach access with rinsing station! Loved it!
Does not have the white sands of South Padre, but not much of a chance of getting stuck unless you really try. Dodge 2wd 1500 pulling 10 ft trailer with no issues getting in and out. Very quite during the week. There is some trash around and that is sad. We picked up every day but still needs help fosterm all. Weekend it get a bit crowed and becouse of the hard pack sand, some people we're going alot faster then the 15 mile an hour speed limit. Weelend also brings vender trucks coming down the beach all the time. We were a bit irritated at 1st but then bought ice-cream LOL We live in Fort Worth and the trip here is about 200 miles shorter then South Padre so it will be a great place to hit when we dont want to travel that extra 200
This park is really back in there as from the office to the sites it's a good distance which is nice. Level sites and more than enough room between sites. If you like hiking, you can get it done here, just watch out for the gators.....
Me and my fiancé went to Bolivar Flats to camp out with our friends and had a really awesome time!
This was a nice quite place to camp,I arrived late and was the only one on the beach. There was a lot of mosquitos but after I sprayed myself down, and got my tent up it wasn't bad at all. There were a few trucks that drove by me but that was all. When I woke up it was really nice.It did get busy during the day with people fishing and swimming.
It sounds like you had a memorable experience during your stay! Friendly staff, clean facilities, and great beach walks definitely contribute to a positive impression. It's wise to prefer the bay side sites for a quieter atmosphere and fewer crowds. Watching interesting birds adds to the charm, but it's essential to stay cautious of snakes, as you mentioned encountering a rattler. This is a hidden jewel since you can't see the campground from I-45 when headed to Galveston,TX. Once you find where it is you can easily reach it. The campground is stil being expanded but is open and is pet friendly and very quiet. All concrete roads and pads at sites. All sites are full hookup with 30 and 50 amp service. Water and sewer are connected to the city services. Washer and dryers and showers are in the back of the Office. There are 2 ponds to fish in and there is a City Park next door within walking distance.

We stayed in spot 112 in February 2024.
We stayed at Stella Mare for 2 months while working a project. Could not be happier. The lots are reasonably spacious and everything is clean, clean, clean! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Fun activities for everyone. Lots of longer term retired guests over winter months, but they like to party!
Laundry facilities are good. Housed in both men’s and women’s restroom/shower rooms. Only left 4 available to me at any one time. They are always in use. But they were clean.
We didn’t use Wi-Fi so I can’t report on that. Neighbors weren’t fans.
They have trash pickup daily between 10 am-6 pm.
Very dog friendly with dog doody stations and a small dog area for a little off leash time.
It’s been too cold for the pool, but it looks inviting. Also a fun splash zone for kids and a neat playground.
I highly recommend;y recommend this resort. Easy drive to public access beaches and everything along the Seawall.
I spoke with someone who is camping here for one month. He loves this place. Clean, friendly, and good location., He says. I spoke with the owner over the phone. He is very, very friendly. If I was looking for a monthly residence, I would definitely be checking this place out. I’m not sure if they offer weekly rates or not.
This is theeeeee spot to be! You can drive right on the beach! Sunsets are amazing but watch out for the bugs at night!
I stumbled upon connectionsnyt.us and was immediately captivated by the wealth of valuable information it offers.
This was such a blissful place to start my Texas snowbird trip. As a solo female traveler in a campervan I felt so incredibly safe and welcomed to this campground. Nancy and Butch are the kindest campground hosts I've ever encountered. They ensured to check in with me regularly during my two week stay, the bathroom, shower and laundry facilities were maintained consistently, and the dog park and closeness to the beach was perfect for my dog's daily exercise. For the reasonable price, I felt this campground delivered above and beyond. If I hadn't scheduled another campground, I would have stayed longer. Thank you to all at Beachside RV. You made my stay memorable.
