Tillicum Beach Campground is popular for many reasons, but the number one and most obvious is its location right on the beach. Campers are lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean waves, then wake to sweeping views of the Pacific. The campground offers an ideal location for whale watching. Most campsites have beachfront views, and sunsets are not to be missed. Surfing, swimming and playing in the sand are the campgrounds most popular activities. Natural Features: The coastal campground lies a couple miles south of where the Alsea River meets the Pacific Ocean. Tillicum is perfectly perched on the sandy beach yet it still offers some shade. The campground offers views of both the ocean and the Coastal Range. Recreation: Campers enjoy Tillicum for its expansive sandy beach. Surfers and swimmers play in the waves just off-shore. Children love building sandcastles on the beach. Walking along the beach is a great way to explore the area. Cape Perpetua is 6 miles south, where visitors can wander through old-growth Sitka spruce, experience the crashing surf, investigate tide pools, whale watch or take a guided hike. Waldport, just 4 miles north, provides access to fishing, crabbing, clamming and shrimping in the Alsea Bay and River. Facilities: The campground offers several single-family campsites, a few of which have both electric and water hookups. Sites with hookups are not on the waterfront. Due to the campgrounds popularity, its a good idea to make reservations in advance. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided but there are no showers. Nearby Attractions: The Rock Creek Wilderness Area, within the Siuslaw National Forest off Coastal Highway 101, encompasses about 7,500 acres. The area is comprised of a dense coniferous rainforest, where bigleaf maple and red alder trees line the creeks, and rhododendrons dot the forest floor. Marys Peak is the highest point in Oregons Coast Range and has been designed a Scenic Botanical Area because of its rich, unique scenery and plants. ACTIVITIES Fishing Hiking Swimming Site

Self contained vehicles/small AWD RVs, tents ok! (Room for multiple) However, there is no bathroom on property so campers need to be self contained. There is a public restroom 3 minutes South in the Neskowin village! Outdoor showers provided for the surfers at the Pelican Brewery in Pacific City (8 min. North). All wheel drive strongly suggested and required when wet, especially in the winter/spring.

Secluded 5 acre Forested Ocean view property surrounded by a lush alder, elderberry, and sitka spruce. Located 2 miles North of Neskowin beach, 350' ft above sea level, well out of theTsunami zone, spring water flowing just above camp, small trails to walk in the forest from campsite.

Cross the large green metal bridge, turn in at gate with the Namaste sign! After arriving at camp be sure to check out the approx. 280 yr. old octopus like Sitka Spruce just before the turn heading back down the hill you came up, go to the west side to see it's branches stacking up on each other as big as some trees!

Wood is sometimes available for purchase at $5 a bundle if requested in advance unless there is a burn ban. There is a jar on the picnic table where you can leave cash.

For things to do nearby... To the South… \~ Cascade Head, 15 minutes south off of 3 rocks road, you will find an amazing hike with mature forest and stunning ocean views! Follow the signs, near Knight park.



\~ Driftcreek Falls- Off the ocean but worth the trip! Suspension bridge easy 3 mile RT trail. Access from HWY 18, leave Looping around into Lincoln City for dinner perhaps?



\~Roads End- Lincoln City, my favorite beach at low tide for tide pools and walking around the rocks to the north to see the monolithic Rocks in the ocean and 2 caves. \~That's mostly it for hiking but Broiler Bay, south of Lincoln city is a great viewpoint and whale spotting site. \~Depoe Bay as well!



\~ Devil's Punchbowl, hike to the bottom at low tide and check out the tide pools!

\~ Yaquina Lighthouse and cobble beach are nice stops in Newport as well as the Bay Front and Nye Beach. To the north…



\~ Cape Lookout 3 fabulous trails about 5 miles round trip each, through beautiful forest and revealing breathtaking views of the coastline. The center trail is the flattest, the other two are much steeper and take you down to the beach. There is a pretty sweet surf spot at the end of the South trail.



\~ Munson Falls- South of Tillamook, only 1/2 mile RT, not far off Hwy 101. Beautiful in the Fall with the changing leaves of the Canadian Maples but really it's lovely always =) Watch out for the potholes!



\~Cape Meares Lighthouse. Take the scenic byway through Pacific city towards 3 capes scenic drive. There you will also find Oregon's largest Sitka Spruce tree, 45 feet in circumference!

Situated next to the Yaquina Bay Bridge, South Beach State Park begins in south Newport and stretches several miles down the Oregon coast. This historic park offers access to miles of broad, sandy ocean beach and trails for walking and bicycling. Located just south of the South Jetty, this is your gateway to exploring Newport.

The paved Jetty Trail provides a perfect place to jog or ride a bicycle. Our equestrian trail to the beach begins at the South Jetty equestrian trailhead. Park next to the trailhead and enjoy a beautiful sunset by horseback!

We found our forever home about 2 years ago and, after a crazy rollercoaster ride of purchasing, we finally got to move onto the property a year and a half ago.

Like most new farmsteaders we hit our fair share of bumps in the road and learned a few lessons along the way. But all in all we are getting the place to where we want it to be and making our dreams come true.

Although we are not quite there, we are starting to open up a few spots to have guests stay here and help us enjoy it with us along our journey!

Come camp with us in the Oregon Coast Mountain Range! We are located right on Highway 126, exactly halfway between the city of Eugene and the city of Florence at the Oregon Pacific coast.

The space

We have 2 tipi tents set up at the front of our property that can accommodate groups up to 8 people each. We also provide a composting toilet in its own small tent and access to fresh water. And if you get hungry we are just a short walk down the driveway to the Halfway Café!

Guest access

We love showing off our property and are more than happy to take you on a tour when you arrive! You are welcome to sit by the camp fire at night located up above our sun shaped garden or even hike the trails in our woods. Make sure you say hi to the turkey, chickens and baby ducks on your way past.
