GuideLarge flat area just a few hundred yards off the road and five minutes from great basin Ranger station. The dirt road is a two track with a little rutting. Very similar and just down the road from the gravel quarry site.

LegendThree miles of unpaved road but not too bad to get here. Snow on the mountains in the distance. Great cell phone reception but this is definitely pack it in and pack it out. A few existent fire pits and lots of established but some require four-wheel drive and I definitely wouldn't bring a trailer over 40 ft up here. I'm 34 feet and it's iffy as is. Probably fantastic place to view stars but it's cloudy and supposed to rain and possibly snow here tonight!

GuideThe campground is very nice. Sites have shade from trees and picnic table covers. Vault toilets are very clean. I was the only one at the campground when I stayed here at the end of April. There are pull through sites and back in sites. There's water available, but when I was there they had just turned it on and it has not been tested yet to make sure it was safe to drink.
