Camping near Firth, ID ranges from RV and tent sites with water and electric hookups to primitive dispersed sites along the Snake River. North Bingham County Park provides hookup sites for RVs and tents, while Snake River Dispersed offers more primitive camping for those seeking solitude. The region includes both public and private campgrounds, with several facilities offering cabin rentals and glamping accommodations within a 30-minute drive of Firth.

Many campgrounds like North Bingham County Park close during winter months. "This was our first attempt to find a place to land in the Idaho Falls Area. Located about 10 miles south of Idaho Falls, it is a relatively new 12-unit RV Park," noted one visitor about North Bingham County Park. Travelers should check seasonal availability, as weather conditions can impact access, particularly at higher elevations. Snake River sites typically remain accessible year-round, though amenities may be limited during colder months.

Waterfront campgrounds receive consistently positive reviews, particularly along the Snake River where several sites offer direct water access. Sites near Idaho Falls provide convenient access to urban amenities while maintaining a natural setting. The area features a mix of private RV parks with full hookups and more rustic public campgrounds with basic facilities. According to one camper at Juniper County Park, "We were pleasantly surprised by this campground just outside Idaho Falls, which we used for one night on our trip through the area. The bathrooms were clean and showers were a nice touch." Campgrounds closer to Idaho Falls tend to have better cell service and more amenities, while those in more remote locations offer greater privacy and scenic views of the surrounding landscape.

      Blackfoot Reservoir Campground

      Great place

This is a very nice area has spots for large RVs, small RVs ,and has stops for tent camping. Also have various bathroom and picnic areas. There is also boat launches from this area. The rv spots have electric hookups and access to water but can not leave it hooked to camper there is also an rv dump station and trash bins areas. To stay here you do have to make reservations though recreation.gov. All around I find this to be a great place to stay at!

      Idaho Falls Luxury RV Park

      Lovely park

Great mature trees, grass, right on the river. In town but quiet. Yes there are trains but not at all excessive. Loved it - will be back. You can stay here or right next door for 2.5x as much with baby trees and expensive electricity. Note: this park is $40/ night - we found next best in town rate to be $50/ night with a weekly rate.

      McTucker Ponds Park

      Perfect getaway

During the day it's busy with family activities, playing in the water or riding atvs. At night it dies done and gets quite. Soon you can hear the loons and crickets. Off note if you have an adhd child be prepared to do something all day.

      Portneuf Lower Sportsmen's Access

      Choo choo express

It isn't to far from a town, spots are not close together, close to the water to either swim or fish. Pet friendly. Down side. Gravel for tent sites No shade And from 6pm on all you hear are trains

      Jefferson County Lake

      Nice Spot to stop

Stayed 2 nights during a baseball tournament. This campground is alongside a State Highway with lots of traffic. As a result a little noisy during the day. Campground and hosts very nice. Parking pad very level, no leveling required. I would recommend trying to get the first 15 campsites to lessen the noise, and enjoy the artesian fed lake for some relaxation!

      Southeast Tourist Campground/RV

      Gem off the Snake River

This place is an absolute hidden gem! After seeing some of the lower ratings, I was hesitant, but our stay here turned out to be incredible! We paid just forty dollars a night for a massive space right off the Snake River, with green, grassy ground all around us—a total steal compared to the luxury resort next door. With only sixteen spaces, we had so much privacy and room for our thirty-five-foot RV, tow vehicle, and extra cars. Even better, it's got a dump station and water fill station right on site, plus being right on the green belt is perfect for our dog. We'll definitely be back!

While I was here, I sound variety of campers vans motorhomes tents tear jobs even a three axle trailer!

      Indian Rocks - Dispersed Camping

      Easy Acess. Amenities close by

Convenient and free campspot located just off the interstate. It provided a peaceful and restorative stop during our travels. The proximity to the highway made it incredibly accessible, saving us valuable time. Despite its location, the site offered a surprising sense of tranquility. We would certainly recommend this spot for anyone seeking a comfortable and uncomplicated overnight stay.
