Little Presque Isle Rustic Outpost Camp — Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park

    Great Location

Great campground with access to Lake Superior. Perfect for watching the sunset or yooperlite hunting. This campground is family friendly and the vault toilets are well maintained. Some of the sites are a little close to others, but it wasn’t much of a bother.

There is a trailhead right at the beginning of the campground that is short and easy with a number of amazing waterfalls along the way.

    Sylvania (clark Lake) Campground

    Private sites

Shady private sites with ample mosquitoes. We were in a tent so did not appreciate the asphalt, but this site would be great for a small trailer.

    Little Girl's Point County Park

    No drinking water

The location is spectacular. Our site was of good size. The toilets have higher use than they were designed for. I did not like that we had to cross a country road to get to the toilet. There is a playground and the beach had excellent rocks.

    Lake Gogebic State Park Campground

    Close sites

The sites are close together and not private. The campground was never dark or quiet. The shower house was clean and the hosts invited guests to hot chocolate in the morning.

    Eddy Park & Campground

Nice park with tight rv spaces

Very pretty lake and park on the edge of town. The rv park itself is very tight spacing, and many rvs are full-time sitting here from the looks of it. Overall, for price, quiet, and just a few night stay, it wasn't bad. It's just not camping.

    Kreher RV Park

On Lake Superior. Bike trails to downtown

This is a great campground. It's directly on the lake, and it's connected to a bike trail that you can take to downtown or farther north along the lake. You can follow it all the way to the end of town where you'll find a large beach and (free) artisan well water. The water is delicious and very cold!

The shower house is very clean and has private rooms. A code is necessary to gain access to the bathrooms/showers.

Some leveling will be required at most sites, but not much. The camp host was very friendly and easy to work with.

The best part in my opinion is the trail. You can follow it to cross under the highway and access the downtown area, which is great. There are lots of unique shops and restaurants, as well as a library and an amazing grocery store.

This campground was mostly full when I was there. There is an overflow area (a marina parking lot) adjacent to the campground you can use for $25/night if the campground is full. There are no hookups in the overflow parking lot.

I had great 5G T-mobile signal here, and decent 4G Verizon signal inside the camper. Outside the camper I could get a good 5G Verizon signal.

    Will definitely visit again.

    Emily Lake NF Campground

    Emily Lake Campground

Great little campground in a woodsy setting on the lake. Good cell service, vault toilets, and dumpsters. At the moment, it's first-come first-serve and $15/night. Only one other camper on a Sunday night mid-August.
